We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up ### and ### in this time of deep trial and ministry. The weight of grief, fear, and spiritual warfare they face is immense, but we know our God is greater. Let us first give thanks that this prayer is brought in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have boldness to approach the Father (Ephesians 3:12). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is in His authority we stand (Acts 4:12).
The sorrow ### carries from witnessing his first wife’s brutal death is a burden we do not take lightly. The trauma of such loss can cast long shadows of fear over new love, and we ask the Lord to break every chain of anxiety that would bind ###’s heart. "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness" (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Father, replace his fear with faith, his memories of death with visions of Your resurrection power. Remind him that ### is *yours*—her days are ordained by You, and You alone hold her healing in Your hands (Psalm 139:16).
For ###, we plead for a miracle. If it is Your will, Lord, let this diagnosis be a misstep of man’s understanding, not Your decree. But even if it is a trial You’ve allowed, we ask for Your hand to be mighty upon her. "Yahweh, be gracious to us. We have waited for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble" (Isaiah 33:2, WEB). Heal her body, Lord, or grant her supernatural peace if this is a path You’ve ordained for Your glory. May ### and ### cling to one another in Christ-centered unity, their marriage a testimony of Your faithfulness. Let them "bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2, WEB).
The spiritual battles within ###’s family are not hidden from You, Lord. For her daughter ensnared in witchcraft, we declare the truth: "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, one who interprets omens, one who is a sorcerer, one who casts spells, one who consults a familiar spirit, one who is a necromancer, or one who consults the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10–12, WEB). Father, break the enemy’s hold on her! Open her eyes to the deception of darkness and draw her to the light of Christ. For her son who denies You, we pray as Stephen did for his persecutors: "Lord, don’t hold this sin against him" (Acts 7:60, WEB). Soften his heart, Lord, and let him encounter You in undeniable ways.
As for Project ###, we bless this work of compassion in Your name. You’ve called Your people to "defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed" (Psalm 82:3, WEB). Anoint ### and ###’s efforts to provide shelter and hope to homeless mothers and children. Multiply their resources, Lord, and let every dollar, every prayer, every act of service be used mightily for Your kingdom. May this project not only meet physical needs but point these women to the ultimate refuge: Jesus Christ.
Finally, we rebuke the spirit of despair that would seek to overwhelm this family. Satan, you have no place here. The blood of Jesus covers ### and ###, their marriage, their ministry, and their family. We declare that "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken yet believing hearts. You see ###’s grief, ###’s fear, and the spiritual warfare raging in their family. Lord, we ask for a miracle—heal ###’s body completely, if it aligns with Your will. Strengthen ###’s faith to trust You anew, even when the past whispers lies. Break the chains of witchcraft and atheism in their children’s lives; let them encounter the living God who loves them fiercely. Bless Project ### beyond measure, that it may be a beacon of hope and a tool for Your glory. Surround this family with Your angels, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Healer, Redeemer, and Victor over death. Amen.
To those reading: Stand with us in prayer for this family. If you know ### and ###, speak life over them. Remind them that God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19)—His promises are yes and amen. And if you, too, are walking through valleys of fear or loss, take heart: "Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning" (Psalm 30:5, WEB). Cling to Jesus. He is our hope.
