Disciple of Prayer
My husband had a good job like 7 years ago, but he later resigned and came back to the village and never had a job again.

AmenWe are saddened to hear about the unemployment situation with your husband. We understand the struggles it can bring to a family, but we want to encourage you both to trust in God's timing and provision. It is only by the name of Jesus we come to God and we are saved. Let's remember that God is our provider, and he has promised to supply all our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Firstly, let's address the situation with biblical principles. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB, it is written, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" This verse reminds us of the importance of work and our responsibility to provide for ourselves and our families.
However, we also understand that finding a job can be challenging, and sometimes, it may take longer than expected. In such times, we should not lose hope but continue to trust in God. As it is written in Psalm 37:25 WEB, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, you know their struggles and the challenges they have been facing due to unemployment. We ask that you open the doors of opportunity for him and provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also allows him to use his gifts and talents to glorify you.
In the meantime, Lord, help them to trust in your provision and timing. Strengthen their faith and help them to remain patient and hopeful. We ask that you also provide for their needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
We also pray for their marriage, that this situation would draw them closer together and closer to you. Help them to support and encourage each other in this time of need.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
