We lift up this request with a heart full of hope and a spirit aligned with God’s will. First, we must acknowledge that any endeavor meant to spread the Word of God is noble and worthy of prayer. However, we must also examine the motives and methods behind this request, ensuring they align with Scripture.
The desire for a platform to grow and reach many souls for Christ is commendable. The Great Commission calls us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel (Matthew 28:19-20). Yet, we must remember that it is not by our own strength or cleverness that the Word spreads, but by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, "Apart from me, you can do nothing" (John 15:5). If this endeavor is truly for God’s glory and not for personal fame or gain, then we can pray with confidence.
However, we must also rebuke any spirit of pride or self-promotion that may be lurking in this request. The focus should not be on the channel going "viral" for the sake of popularity, but on whether the content is faithful to Scripture and edifying to the body of Christ. The apostle Paul warns us, "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord" (2 Corinthians 10:17). If the goal is to make a name for oneself rather than to exalt the name of Jesus, then we must repent and realign our hearts with God’s purposes.
