We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father. First, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from above, and we trust in God’s provision for your unspoken need. The Lord knows the desires of your heart even before you speak them, and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We pray that God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind as you wait on Him, and that He will meet this need in a way that brings Him glory and deepens your faith.
For your upcoming appointment, we ask the Lord to go before you and prepare the way. May His presence be with you, calming any anxiety and filling you with confidence in His sovereignty. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). We pray that every detail will work together for your good, that the outcome will honor God, and that you will walk away encouraged, knowing that the Lord is your strength and shield.
Regarding the two phone conversations you mentioned, we pray that the Lord would grant you wisdom, grace, and favor in your words. May these conversations be filled with kindness, understanding, and godly outcomes. "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one" (Colossians 4:6). We ask that the Holy Spirit would guide your tongue, soften hearts, and bring about resolution or encouragement as needed. May these interactions reflect Christ’s love and bring glory to His name.
We also want to gently encourage you to examine these relationships or interactions in light of Scripture. If these conversations involve someone you are courting with the intention of marriage, we pray that this person is a fellow believer who shares your commitment to Christ. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect the relationship between Christ and His church, and it is vital that both individuals are equally yoked in faith. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If these conversations are leading toward a romantic relationship, we urge you to seek God’s will and ensure that the foundation is built on Christ alone.
If there is any sin—such as sexual immorality, dishonesty, or ungodly attachments—creeping into these relationships, we must rebuke it in Jesus’ name. Fornication and adultery are serious offenses against God, and they grieve the Holy Spirit. "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). If there is any unrepentant sin in your life, we encourage you to confess it, turn away from it, and seek the Lord’s forgiveness and cleansing. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of keeping Christ at the center of every area of your life. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. "Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life! No one comes to the Father, except through me’" (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus, repenting of your sins and trusting in His finished work on the cross for your salvation. He is the only way to eternal life and the source of true peace, joy, and fulfillment.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their needs before Your throne. Lord, You know the unspoken request of their heart, and we ask that You meet it according to Your perfect will. Provide for them in ways that only You can, and let Your peace reign in their life as they trust in You. For the upcoming appointment, we ask that You go before them, prepare the way, and bring about an outcome that glorifies Your name. Grant them favor, wisdom, and confidence in You.
Father, we also pray for the phone conversations ahead. May Your Holy Spirit guide their words and soften the hearts of those they speak with. Let these interactions be filled with grace, truth, and godly outcomes. If there are any relationships involved, we ask that You align them with Your Word. Bring a godly spouse into their life if it is Your will, and protect them from any relationships that do not honor You. Convict and cleanse any sin, Lord, and help them to walk in purity and holiness.
Above all, we pray that You would draw them closer to Jesus. May they find their identity, purpose, and hope in Him alone. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt in Jesus’ name, and we declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear. May Your will be done in every area of their life, and may Your name be glorified.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
