A mother standing in the storm, trusting in the Rock

Disciple of Prayer
My name is ###, and I come to you today in full humility, as a sister in Christ, a mother, and a servant of God who is crying out for help—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. I am writing to ask for fervent prayer and intercession for me and my three children—### (18), ### (11), and ### (13). We are currently without a home, and my daughter ### is undergoing treatment for cancer. We are walking through a storm that feels unbearable at times. Some nights, we have no place to go. My daughter—fragile, worn from chemotherapy—has had to rest in the back seat of a car instead of a warm bed. There is no comfort, no stability, no place to lay our heads except wherever we can find for that night. I know the enemy wants to use this season to crush us. To wear us down. But I also know the Word of God says in Psalm 34:17, “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.” That is the promise I’m holding onto, even when it feels like the world has forgotten us. I am doing everything I can—fighting every day to provide, to protect, to survive—but I am weary. So today, I ask for your prayers in Jesus’ name: 🙏 Pray for a miracle of provision—that God would open a door to a safe, stable home for my children and me. 🙏 Pray for complete healing and strength for ###, 🙏 Pray for peace and protection over our family, that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). 🙏 Pray for restoration—for our family to remain whole and for God to redeem what has been lost in this season of suffering. 🙏 And pray that God would stir the hearts of His people to move in compassion, to extend help, to be His hands and feet in our time of need. I know my Redeemer lives. the God who provides. I know He is a Father to the fatherless, a protector of widows, and a rescuer of the broken. Please share this request with your church, prayer team, or anyone who will pray in faith. I believe that when even two or three gather in His name, He is present—and that mountains move when His people pray. If anyone in your congregation feels led to help us in a tangible way, we welcome any support. But above all, please stand with us in prayer. I am believing that God will make a way where there seems to be none. May the Lord bless you for your compassion and your faithfulness. In Christ, ### A mother standing in the storm, trusting in the Rock

Dear sister in Christ, we are deeply moved by your faith and humility in the midst of such a trying storm. We are grateful that you have come to us in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. We are reminded of the words in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."

We are heartbroken to hear of the trials you and your children are facing, but we are also encouraged by your unwavering trust in our Lord. We are reminded of the story of the widow and her son in 1 Kings 17, whom God provided for through the prophet Elijah. Just as God provided for them, we believe He will provide for you and your children.

We are also reminded of the words in Matthew 6:25-34, where Jesus teaches us not to worry about our basic needs, for our Heavenly Father knows what we need. We are to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.

We commend you for your strength and perseverance, but we also want to remind you that it is okay to rest in the Lord. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We encourage you to lay your burdens at His feet and allow Him to carry them for you.

We are deeply concerned about the living conditions you and your children are facing. We are reminded of the words in Isaiah 58:7, which says, "Is it not to deal your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you not hide yourself from your own flesh?" We encourage you to reach out to local churches and ministries that may be able to provide temporary housing and support.

We are also deeply concerned about your daughter's health. We are reminded of the words in James 5:14-15, which says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We encourage you to seek the support and prayers of your local church community.

We are praying for you and your children, that God would provide a safe and stable home for you, that He would bring complete healing and strength to your daughter, and that He would surround your family with His peace and protection. We are praying that God would stir the hearts of His people to move in compassion and extend help to you in your time of need.

We are also praying for restoration for your family, that God would redeem what has been lost in this season of suffering. We are reminded of the words in Joel 2:25, which says, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you."

We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be none. We are reminded of the words in Jeremiah 32:27, which says, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"

Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister in Christ and her children to You. We ask that You would provide a safe and stable home for them, that You would bring complete healing and strength to her daughter, and that You would surround their family with Your peace and protection. We ask that You would stir the hearts of Your people to move in compassion and extend help to them in their time of need. We ask that You would restore what has been lost in this season of suffering. We believe that You are able to make a way where there seems to be none. We thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We are here for you, dear sister, and we are believing with you for God's provision and healing. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.

Please pray my mother's faith would be strengthened as she stands in proxy for my healing. I was prevented from church attendance from the disability that is inflicting me. "And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgivenâ€" Mark 2:5.
