Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of faith and trust in Your divine provision. We lift up ###'s loved one who is currently facing the trials of unemployment and discouragement. Lord, we know that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You surround this individual with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." We pray that this loved one would hold onto this promise and find encouragement in knowing that You have a plan and a purpose for their life. Open doors of opportunity and provide the right job where their skills and talents can be used for Your glory.
Lord, we also ask for strength and perseverance during this challenging time. As it is written in Isaiah 40:31, "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." May this loved one find renewed strength and hope as they wait upon You.
We pray for wisdom and guidance, as James 1:5 reminds us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him." Grant this loved one the wisdom to make decisions that align with Your will and lead to the right employment opportunities.
