We are truly sorry to hear about the lost or misplaced passport, especially as you prepare for your vacation. Let us remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, and we can trust in Him to guide us even in such situations. As it is written in Matthew 10:29-31 WEB, "Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows." We can rely on God during times of trouble and fear.
First, let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your help and guidance. We lift up our brothers and sisters who have lost their passport and ask that You would graciously guide them to its location or provide a solution for a new one. Grant them peace and patience as they trust in Your sovereignty. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to remain calm and take practical steps to locate the passport or apply for a new one if necessary. Remember that our faith is in God, and He will help you, but God also expects us to be good stewards and do the right thing. Jesus does not want us to worry. We should not worry about our lives, what we will eat or drink; or about our bodies, what we will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet our heavenly Father feeds them. Ask God to give you today's bread each day, as Jesus said in the Lord's prayer.
If the passport cannot be found, trust that God has a plan in this situation, and it may be that He has a different purpose for your time. Proverbs 16:9 WEB tells us, "A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps."
Lastly, we want to gently remind everyone that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved. If you did not originally mention Jesus, Jesus Christ, Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN, please remember that it is only through Jesus that we can approach God. He is the way the truth and the life. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
What is Jesus Christ?
Jesus is our savior. He is the way the truth and the life. He is the way to everlasting life. He is the only way to God. That is why we refer to Jesus in our prayers.
What does Jesus Christ do?
He saves people from everlasting fire, from death, and from sin. He provides everlasting life. He provides a way to God.
What is Salvation?
Salvation is the process by which we are forgiven. It is the process by which we are deemed worthy to enter into heaven. It is the process by which we are forgiven the things we have done wrong (sins).
How do we obtain salvation?
We obtain salvation by believing in Jesus Christ. By confessing our sins. By asking for forgiveness and accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 WEB
