A Holy Spirit Experience

Dear Friends, as some of you already know, two days ago, I went through a very emotional experience with my husband and two of my grandkids. I was a total wreck, and my crying was way beyond discription.

I visited with a friend on the phone for emotional support, when I got off the phone I began to pray, as I started praying for peace and comfort, at one point in my prayer I went to rise up and walk through my house to pray, as I do often.

But the Holy Spirit would not let me up, I felt a heavy pressure keeping me on my knees until the sobbing and emotions passed, I will never forget this moment, for I have never felt the Holy Spirit in this way, and I LIKED IT, IT WAS AMAZING, THANK YOU FATHER FOR TAKING MY STRENGTH TO STAND UP, THANK YOU FOR KEEPING ME ON MY KNEES AND FACE ON THE FLOOR WHILE YOU WASHED MY HEART AND HEARD MY PRAYERS. I LOVE YOU LORD, THANK YOU , AMEN.

I know that feeling, too, Liz and it is amazing....to realize that God had His hand on YOU that very moment. Usually, I feel a "washing" so to speak of my emotions and I can actually feel His peace and calm take over every part of me. I call it being in the "God Zone". I know He listens to all of our prayers, but I thank Him for knowing that sometimes we just need that "moment" to reassure us that He's right beside us, hearing us, working for us, holding us, loving us. May He continue to guide and bless your walk with Him and may you enjoy sweet fellowship with Him always.
