A Family Of Hatreds

My brother-in-law's family are atheist. This family is very intellectual. The parents are with law degrees. The children are graduated or graduating from UC schools. My sister-in-law came from a very broken family with drug and alcohol abuse. Her father abandoned her family when she was young. She is holding a lot of anger in her. They have a big poster in the living room listing "things WE HATE". They constantly promoting the idea of hate with nasty name calling to other relatives who they disagree with.

Please pray for God's love to touch this family. May God send good Christian to bring them the good news of salvation. May God's grace bring reconciliation to the whole family and heal the family member they hurt. May God bring hope, peace and joy to their life.

Dear Lord, we are here this morning to pray for the lost in kate's brother-in-law's family. They are educated in this word's ways, but ignorant in their spiritual lives and in regard to their eternal life. We pray you give them the strength and insight to overcome Satan's tools - pride, vanity, anger, drug & alcohol abuse, etc. Please lead this family to salavation throught your son, Jesus Christ. Please “open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are being sanctified by faith in Christ.†— Acts 26:18. In Jesus name, Amen.

Lord, enter this home with Your Holy Spirit. Destroy the power of the devil, wash this family in Your saving blood, and let them choose life in Your grace, rather than death. Amen.

Lord Open their spiritual eyes so they may see how much they need the lord in everday things. I pray they accept Jesus in their lives and live for him.
