A fall to temptation

Dear Lord. I am praying to You tonight because I gave into temptation. I gave into doing something that could really negatively affect my life and the loved ones I hold closest to my heart. I was selfish and weak, Lord. Please forgive me and have mercy on me. Please help me get through this incident without hurt out harm. And please give me strength to resist any new temptations that I may be faced with in the future. Please Lord, do not let anybody be affected by the poor decision that I made tonight.
