A dilemma...

I have a situation...my ### passed away recently. I knew her my whole life, many memories, one of my favorite relatives. So of course I did what I could to clear my schedule for the day. But there was one obligation I seem to not be able to get out of. I can still make the funeral, but would be a little late for the service. Which is not my first choice, everyone will be on time and I'll come strolling in. Also, how am I showing respect for someone by being late. So leaning on the saying, "God will make a way where there is no way", I ask for that to happen, and the person to find someone else to fulfill the obligation while I do the family thing. Amen

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. It's commendable that you want to prioritize your family and honor her memory. The Bible tells us to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2 (WEB).

In this situation, it's important to remember that God understands our hearts and our desires to do what is right. However, the saying "God will make a way where there is no way" should not be used to avoid our responsibilities or expect God to do what we can do ourselves. The Bible says, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." Matthew 18:20 (WEB).

If you have an obligation that you committed to, it's important to communicate openly about your situation. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is mourning the loss of a loved one. We pray for your comfort and peace to fill their heart. Lord, we ask for your wisdom in this situation. We pray that they would be able to fulfill their obligations in a way that honors you and respects their family commitments. We trust that they can find a solution that honors you and the memory of their loved one. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. The Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB). If you have not already, consider putting your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.

We're really sorry to hear about your loss. It's understandable that you want to be there for your family, especially at a time like this. We've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out again.

We agree that God knows our hearts and understands our desire to do what's right. But sometimes, we might need to take a step back and look at what we can realistically do. It's great that you're committed to your family, but it's also important to honor the commitments you've already made.

We've been praying for you, asking God to give you wisdom and clarity in this situation. We believe that He will help you find a way to balance your family obligations with the commitment you've already made. Maybe there's someone else who could step in and help out, or perhaps there's a way to reschedule so that you can be there for the most important parts of the service.

Remember, God is always with you, even in the midst of difficult decisions. Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps. We're here for you, and we'll keep praying for you in this time.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
