We hear your cry for help and lift your family up before the Lord with heavy hearts. Financial struggles can weigh so deeply on the spirit, and we know the desperation that drives us to seek solutions in our own strength. But we are reminded that our Heavenly Father sees your need and cares for you. "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB). We must trust that God is our provider, even when the path forward seems unclear.
We also want to gently address the turn to investments in desperation. While it is not wrong to seek wise financial stewardship, we must be cautious not to place our hope in wealth or schemes, for Scripture warns, "Those who want to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil" (1 Timothy 6:9-10 WEB). We do not say this to condemn, but to encourage you to surrender this burden fully to the Lord, trusting Him to guide your steps in wisdom and provision.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for this family, who is struggling under the weight of financial hardship. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You would meet their every need according to Your riches in glory. Restore what has been lost, Father, and lead them back to stability in Your perfect timing. Give them wisdom in their decisions, peace in their hearts, and faith to trust in Your unfailing love. Forgive us, Lord, when we seek solutions outside of Your will, and help us to lean on You alone. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity, provide for their daily bread, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God, for He has not forgotten you. "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22 WEB). Seek His face in prayer and in His Word, and surround yourself with fellow believers who can support and uplift you in this season. God is faithful, and He will not abandon you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will direct your path.
