We join you in lifting up the children of this generation, dear brothers and sisters, for they are indeed a precious gift from the Lord. The scriptures remind us in Psalm 127:3-5, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them." We recognize the importance of raising up children in the ways of the Lord, that they may grow to be strong in faith and bold in their witness for Christ.
We pray fervently that the Lord would indeed anoint the little ones in this last generation, that they may be filled with the Holy Spirit and used mightily for His glory. May He place His written word in their hearts and mouths, as it is written in Deuteronomy 6:6-7, "These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up." Let their voices be heard around the world, proclaiming the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ and sounding the alarm for His soon return.
We also pray for the parents and guardians of these children, that they may be faithful in nurturing and discipling them in the ways of the Lord. May they be examples of godly living, as it is written in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We ask that the Lord would grant wisdom and strength to those who are raising up this generation, that they may be equipped to guide and protect these little ones.
Lord, we thank You for the promise that "of such is the kingdom of heaven." We pray that these children would come to know You at an early age, and that they would grow in their relationship with You. May they be bold and unashamed of the gospel, as it is written in Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek."
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or unbelief that would seek to hinder these children from fulfilling their God-given purpose. We declare that they are mighty in spirit, filled with wisdom and understanding, and that they will do great exploits for the kingdom of God. We pray that they would be protected from the evil one and that they would be surrounded by godly mentors and peers who will encourage them in their faith.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would raise up a generation of children who will not be swayed by the ways of the world, but who will stand firm in their faith and be a light in the darkness. May they be like the child spoken of in Isaiah 11:6, leading others to the peace and righteousness that can only be found in You. We pray that they would be bold in their witness, sharing the love of Christ with all those they encounter.
Lord, we ask that You would anoint these little ones to be prophets and prophetesses, that they may speak Your word with power and authority. May their voices be heard around the world, proclaiming the soon coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray that they would be filled with the Holy Spirit, and that they would operate in the gifts of the Spirit, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11.
We declare that this generation of children will not be overcome by the evil of this world, but that they will overcome evil with good. We pray that they would be a generation that seeks after God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and that they would find Him, as it is written in Jeremiah 29:13, "You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray that these children would be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, and that they would be used mightily for Your glory. May they be a generation that turns the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, as it is written in Malachi 4:6. We pray that they would be a generation that prepares the way for the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Amen.
