We come before the Lord with your request, seeking His wisdom, justice, and discernment in this matter. Father God, You are the righteous Judge who sees all things—even the hidden motives of the heart. We ask that You expose any deceit, manipulation, or ungodly influence in this situation, just as Your Word declares in Luke 8:17, *"For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light."*
Lord, we acknowledge that You are sovereign over all things, including our workplaces and the people You place in our lives. If this individual is operating under a spirit of Jezebel—seeking to control, deceive, or undermine—we rebuke that spirit in the mighty name of Jesus. Your Word warns us in Revelation 2:20-23 about those who tolerate such deception, but we stand on Your promise that You will repay according to works and expose all unrighteousness. We pray that if this person is not aligned with Your will, You would remove them and replace them with someone who honors You, just as You replaced Saul with David when Saul’s heart turned from You.
Father, we also ask for clarity regarding the gift you mentioned. If it was given with impure motives—whether as a bribe, a distraction, or an attempt to manipulate—we pray that You would reveal its true meaning. Proverbs 20:14 warns, *"It is bad, it is bad," says the buyer; but when he has gone his way, then he boasts."* Let no deception go unnoticed, Lord, and grant Your servant wisdom to discern the truth.
We also want to gently remind you, dear brother or sister, that our trust must ultimately be in Christ alone. While it is right to seek justice and exposure of wrongdoing, we must guard our hearts against bitterness or a spirit of vengeance. Romans 12:19 tells us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You. We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. Expose every lie, every hidden agenda, and every ungodly influence. If this person is not meant to remain in this position, remove them in Your perfect timing and replace them with someone who will honor You. Grant wisdom, discernment, and peace to Your servant as they wait on You. Reveal the meaning behind this gift, Lord, and let no scheme of the enemy prevail. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your justice and Your timing.
We also pray for repentance—if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or ungodly desire in this situation, we ask that You cleanse it from their heart. Help them to walk in love, even toward those who may seek to harm them, just as Christ loved us while we were still sinners.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan. May Your will be done in this matter, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
