THE TONGUE CAN BE A BLESSING AND THE TONGUE

CAN BE A CURSE; SAY, FRIEND, HOW ARE YOU USING

YOURS; FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE?

James would have much trouble fitting into many church societies today. Too many people paying meticulous attention to other peoples' lives and not attending to their own.

The Lord had some strong words for these people who are like the Scribes, Sadducees. and Pharisees. Sadly, we have many among the church who could benefit by what Jesus said.

"For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why do you behold the speck that is in your brother's eye but ignore the plank that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye. and then you will be able to see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye."

Yes, Lord, Let us not judge one another Lord, for you are the one and only Judge Lord, Help us to keep out tongues idle and not speak what we will regret in times of anger, hurt, and frustration Lord, Help us to be kind and patient and gentle, for words we can not take back Lord, Help Me Lord to be patient with my son Lord, In Jesus Name Amen
