Rejoiceministries suggested we write out Psalms 51, and subsitute our spouses names as a marital prayer for restoration.
Psalms 51
1) Have mercy upon Don, O'God according to Your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out Don's transgressions.
2) Wash Don thourghly from his iniquity, and cleanse Don from his sin.
3) For Don acknowledge his transgressions, and his sin is always before him
4) Against You, and You only, has Don sinned, and done this evil by Your sight-that You may be found just when You speak, and blameless when You judge.
5) Behold Don was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin his mother conceived him.
6) Behold, You desire the truth in inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make Don to know wisdom.
7) Purge Don with hyssop, and he shall be clean; wash Don, and he shall be whiter than snow.
8) Make Don hear joy and gladness, that the bones You have broken may rejoice.
9) Hide Your face from Don's sins, and blot out all his iniquities.
10) Create in Don a clean heart O'God, and renew a steadfast spirit within him.
11) Do not cast Don away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from Don.
12) Restore to Don the joy of Your salvation, and uphold Don by Your generous spirit.
13) Then Don will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You.
14) Deliver Don from the guilt of bloodshed O'God, the God of Don's salvation, and Don's tongue shall sing aloud of Your rightousness.
15) O Lord, open Don's lips, and his mouth shall flow forth Your praise.
16) For You do not desire sacrifice, or else Don would give it:
17) The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart- these O'god, You will not despise.
18) Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; build the walls of Jerusalem.
19) Then You shall be pleases with the sacrifices of rightousness, with burnt offieringand whole burnt offering; Then they shall offer bulls on Your alter.
Please pray this prayer for the one you love, and keep on praying for them.
