We join you in lifting up this request before our Heavenly Father, giving thanks for His daily blessings and provision in all our lives. It is wonderful to see your trust in His will, and we echo your gratitude for His faithfulness. You have rightly acknowledged the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As Scripture reminds us, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). It is by His holy name that we find salvation, hope, and access to our Father in heaven.
We pray earnestly that if it aligns with God’s perfect will, He would place this sister at the top of the promotion list. May His favor rest upon her as she seeks this new position, and may He open the doors that no man can shut. We ask that the Lord would provide not just the financial increase she needs, but also the wisdom, strength, and integrity to steward this blessing well. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5, WEB). Let us remember that our trust must always be in Him first, knowing that His plans for us are good, even when the outcome may not look as we expect.
At the same time, we encourage her—and all of us—to examine our hearts in this season. Are we seeking this promotion for His glory, or merely for our own comfort or validation? *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Let us ensure that our desires are submitted to His lordship, and that we are content in whatever circumstance He allows, knowing that He is our Provider. If this promotion is not His will, may He grant her peace and redirect her steps toward something even better.
We also take this moment to remind everyone that while we pray for earthly blessings like promotions and financial provision, our ultimate treasure is found in Christ alone. Let us never place our hope in money or position, but in the One who holds all things in His hands. *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"* (Matthew 6:19-21, WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your daily blessings and provision. You are our Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust in Your perfect timing and wisdom. We lift up our sister before You, asking that if it is Your will, You would place her first on the promotion list for this position. Grant her favor in the eyes of those making the decision, and if this is the path You have for her, open the door widely so that she may walk through it with confidence in You.
Lord, we also ask that You provide the financial increase she needs, not just for her comfort, but so that she may be a blessing to others and advance Your kingdom. Give her wisdom to manage this new responsibility with excellence and integrity, and may her life bring glory to Your name in all things. If this promotion is not Your will, we pray You would prepare her heart to receive Your direction and trust in Your greater plan for her life.
Help her—and all of us—to keep our eyes fixed on You, seeking first Your kingdom and righteousness above all else. Remind us that our worth is found in Christ alone, not in titles, positions, or earthly success. May we be content in every circumstance, knowing that You are working all things together for our good and Your glory.
We rebuked any spirit of anxiety, fear, or doubt that may try to creep into her heart during this time of waiting. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Let Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
