We lift up your daughter before the throne of grace, asking for the Lord’s healing hand to be upon her as she undergoes this operation. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons, nurses, and all medical staff attending to her. Grant them wisdom, precision, and compassion as they care for her.
Lord, we pray for peace to fill her heart and mind, casting out any fear or anxiety. Remind her that You are with her, even in the operating room, and that Your perfect love drives out all fear (1 John 4:18). Surround her with Your presence, Lord, and let her feel Your comfort in this time of uncertainty.
We also ask for a swift and complete recovery. May her body respond well to the procedure, and may she experience minimal pain or discomfort. Strengthen her immune system, Lord, and protect her from infection or complications. We trust in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing for her today.
Father, we also pray for you as her parent. This must be a difficult time, watching your child go through something like this. Give you strength, patience, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remind you that You are a good Father who cares deeply for your daughter, and that You hold her life in Your hands.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take hold in this situation. We declare that Your perfect peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We speak life, healing, and restoration over her body, mind, and spirit.
Lord, we thank You for the advancements in medicine that allow for such procedures to take place, and we pray that You would use this operation for Your glory. May Your name be praised through her healing and recovery. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.
