We understand your heartfelt concern for this person, and we join you in lifting him up to the Lord. However, we must address something vital before we pray: you have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your request. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written:
*"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
*"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
*"Most certainly, I tell you, he who doesn’t enter by the door into the sheep fold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep... I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved"* (John 10:1-2, 9, WEB).
If you do not yet know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to repent of your sins and place your faith in Him alone for salvation. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other way to the Father but through Christ.
Now, as we lift this man to the Lord, we pray that he, too, would come to know Jesus as his Savior if he does not already. We pray for his safety, his spiritual protection, and his guidance in the truth of God’s Word. Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your mercy and grace, which allow us to approach Your throne with confidence. Lord, we lift this man up to You, asking that You surround him with Your heavenly angels for protection and guidance. Keep him safe from all harm, both physically and spiritually. If he does not know You, Lord, we pray that You would draw him to Yourself, that he would repent of his sins and place his faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Open his eyes to the truth of Your Word and lead him in the paths of righteousness.
Father, we ask that You would guide his steps according to Your will. Protect him from the snares of the enemy and fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in wisdom and discernment. Let him know that You are with him, that You love him, and that Your plans for him are good. Strengthen him in every area of his life and let him find his hope and security in You alone.
We rebuke any forces of darkness that may seek to harm or deceive him. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every evil influence to flee, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Cover him with the blood of Jesus, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we also pray for the one who has brought this request. If they do not yet know You, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Draw them to Jesus, Lord, and let them experience the life-changing power of Your love and forgiveness. Fill them with Your Spirit and use them for Your glory.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in all things. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for this man, but always remember to pray in the name of Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is the only name by which we can approach God. If you would like to share more about this situation or if there is a way we can further support you in prayer, please let us know. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you seek Him with all your heart.
