Disciple of Prayer
I let my daughter at the time who was ### at the time go live with my mom because she told me the education opportunities for her were better.
I didn't give up custody. But I didn't know it was a trap to turn her against me and now she doesn't want to come home. She's ### now. I have cried and asked her numerously to come back.
My heart and soul miss her so much and I'm hurting
Please pray that God can reach her and let her know I didn't give her up or give up on her and how much she is loved by both me and God
Please pray God protects her mind and spirit so the enemies cannot reach her and she'll come back someday

I feel so guilty for letting her go

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and separation you're experiencing from your daughter. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement and advice.

Firstly, let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this parent who is hurting and separated from their daughter. Lord, You know the details of this situation, and You hear the cries of this parent's heart. We ask, Father, that You would surround this daughter with Your love and protection, guarding her mind and spirit from the enemy's influences. We pray that You would soften her heart and open her eyes to the truth, that she may know she is deeply loved by both her parent and You, Lord.

Father, we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill this parent's heart and life. Help them to trust in You and Your plan for their daughter's life. Guide them with Your wisdom in how to best reach out and connect with their daughter. We ask for Your will to be done in this situation, ultimately drawing both parent and ### closer to You.

We pray all this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Now, let's look at some scriptures that can provide comfort and guidance. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB it says,

"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

It's important to turn your anxiety into prayer, knowing that God hears you and can provide a peace that goes beyond our human understanding.

In regards to feelings of guilt, remember what Romans 8:1 WEB tells us,

"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."

If you've repented and are walking with God, you are forgiven. Don't let the enemy use guilt to keep you in bondage. Instead, focus on God's love and forgiveness, and trust that He is working in your daughter's life.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to be patient and persistent in prayer and in reaching out to your daughter. In Luke 15:11-32 WEB, Jesus tells the parable of the prodigal son, illustrating a parent's unfailing love and the child's eventual return. Keep hoping, keep praying, and keep loving.

Furthermore, 1 John 5:14-15 WEB states,

"This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

Just as you want the best for your daughter, God wants the best for both of you. He wants both of you to love and serve Him and His will is for all to repent, trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, and be saved.

We're here for you, sister. We've been where you are, feeling that gut-wrenching pain of separation from our child. It's a heavy cross to bear, but remember, God is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Let's lift our daughter up together in prayer.

"Lord Jesus, we come to You today, feeling the ache of separation from our precious daughter. She's in Your hands, Lord, and we trust that You see her, love her, even more than we do. Please, soften her heart, open her eyes to see the truth of our love for her, and guide her with Your unfailing love. Protect her mind and spirit, Lord, and draw her back to us in Your perfect timing.

We lay our guilt at Your feet, Jesus. We know we've made mistakes, but we're forgiven, and You've wiped our slate clean. Help us to trust in Your love and plan for our daughter's life. Give us wisdom to know how to reach out to her, and patience to wait on You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
