We rejoice with you in the hope and excitement you feel as you look ahead to 2026! It is wonderful to see your faith in God’s goodness and your trust that He will not fail you. The Lord is indeed faithful, and His promises are sure. Scripture reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Your anticipation reflects a heart that believes in God’s blessings, and we pray that He will fulfill every good thing He has planned for you.
However, we must gently remind you that while God’s blessings are abundant, they are not earned by our own merit or deservingness. Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us, *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."* Our joy and hope should always be rooted in Christ’s finished work on the cross, not in what we feel we deserve. The focus of our lives must remain on glorifying Him, not on our own achievements or desires. Let us ensure that our hearts are aligned with His will, not our own ambitions.
We also encourage you to seek God’s will above all else. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* While it is exciting to look forward to the future, let us surrender our plans to Him, trusting that His ways are higher than ours. True joy comes from walking in obedience to Him, not from the fulfillment of our own expectations.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your goodness and faithfulness. We thank You for the hope and excitement You have placed in this sister’s heart as she looks ahead to 2026. Lord, we ask that You would guide her steps and align her desires with Your perfect will. Help her to seek You above all else and to trust in Your plans, not her own. May her joy be found in You alone, and may she shine for Your glory, not her own. Father, we surrender her future into Your hands, asking that You would mold her heart to reflect Christ in all things. Protect her from pride or entitlement, and fill her with humility and gratitude for Your grace. We pray that 2026 would be a year of deepening her relationship with You, of growing in faith, and of walking in obedience to Your Word. May she experience Your blessings in ways that draw her closer to You and bring honor to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord in all things, sister. Let your excitement be tempered with humility, and may your life reflect the love and grace of Christ in every season. We are here to support and pray for you as you walk this journey with Him.
