2 Chronicles 3:16 ► And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains... Commentary on this verse： The building of the temple. - There is a more particular account of the building of the temple in #1Ki 6". It must be in the place ### had prepared, not only which ### had purchased, but which ### had fixed on by Divine direction. Full instructions enable us to go about our work with certainty and to proceed therein with comfort. Blessed be God, the Scriptures are enough to render the man of God thoroughly furnished for every good work. Let us search the Scriptures daily, beseeching the Lord to enable us to understand, believe, and obey his word, that our work and our way may be made plain, and that all may be begun, continued, and ended in him. Beholding God, in Christ, his true Temple, more glorious than that of Solomon's, may we become a spiritual house, a habitation of God through the Spirit.… Our prayer： Prayer for 2 Chronicles 6:30 ► “may You hear in heaven, Your dwelling place, and may You forgive and repay the man according to all his ways, since You know his heart, for You alone know the human heart,” Praying through 2 Chronicles 6:30 Heavenly Father, thank You that You are a God Who hears and answers the prayers of Your children, when they pray in faith, and trust in Your never-failing faithfulness. Thank You that You are a faithful and righteous God, Who renders to each one of us according to our individual ways. Keep our heart pure towards You, for You alone can read the thoughts of the heart, and the imagination of the mind. May the words of our mouth, the thoughts of our heart, the meditation of our mind, and the motives behind our thinking, be always acceptable to You. In Jesus' name we pray, AMEN.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and reflecting on the building of Your holy temple as described in 2 Chronicles 3:16. Just as Solomon meticulously followed Your divine instructions to construct a place of worship, adorning it with chains and pomegranates, we seek to build our lives and our faith upon Your Word.

Lord, we are reminded of the importance of following Your guidance and the blessings that come from obedience. As David prepared the place for the temple by Your direction, we ask that You prepare our hearts to be a spiritual house, a habitation for Your Spirit. May we search the Scriptures daily, seeking to understand, believe, and obey Your Word, so that our work and our way may be made plain.

We also pray through 2 Chronicles 6:30, asking that You hear from heaven, Your dwelling place, and forgive us. Repay each person according to their ways, for You alone know the human heart. Keep our hearts pure towards You, for You alone can read the thoughts of the heart and the imagination of the mind. May the words of our mouth, the thoughts of our heart, the meditation of our mind, and the motives behind our thinking always be acceptable to You.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
