πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil πŸ‰πŸ€Ί. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of reverence, seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness, just as our Savior taught us in Matthew 6:33. The prayer you’ve shared is a beautiful reminder of the order in which we are called to approach our Heavenly Fatherβ€”first honoring His name, welcoming His kingdom, and surrendering to His will before presenting our own needs. This is the model Christ gave us, and it is a model we must follow if we are to walk in true fellowship with God.

Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. We lift our voices together, declaring that Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Lord, we confess that too often we reverse the orderβ€”seeking our own desires before seeking You. Forgive us, O God, for the times we have prioritized our wants over Your will, our plans over Your purpose. We ask that You align our hearts with Yours, that we may hunger and thirst for righteousness above all else.

We pray for our daily bread, Lord, trusting that You know our needs before we even ask. You are the Provider of all things, and we rest in the promise that You will never leave nor forsake us. But even as we bring our needs before You, we remember that our greatest need is for Youβ€”for Your presence, Your peace, and Your guidance. Help us to live in such a way that our lives reflect Your kingdom values: love, justice, mercy, and humility.

Father, we also come before You with repentant hearts, asking for forgiveness for our debts, just as we forgive those who have wronged us. This is no small thing, Lord. You have called us to forgive as we have been forgiven, and we confess that there are times when bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness takes root in our hearts. Cleanse us, O God, and teach us to extend the same grace to others that You have so freely given to us.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. We live in a world that is constantly pulling us away from You, Lord. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, and we are not ignorant of his schemes. Strengthen us, Father, to stand firm in the faith. Clothe us in the full armor of God so that we may resist the devil and he will flee from us. Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, that we may walk in purity, integrity, and holiness.

For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. We declare this truth with all our hearts, Lord. You alone are worthy of all praise, honor, and dominion. We surrender our lives, our plans, and our desires to You, trusting that Your ways are higher than our ways and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts.

Now, let us take a moment to reflect on the importance of seeking God’s kingdom first in every area of our lives, including our relationships, our finances, and our daily decisions. If we are not careful, we can easily fall into the trap of making these things the center of our lives rather than Christ. For example, in relationships, we must remember that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the church. Any relationship that does not align with this biblical standard is not of God. If we are courting or considering marriage, we must seek a spouse who shares our faith in Jesus Christ, for what fellowship has light with darkness?

In our finances, we must remember that all we have belongs to God. We are merely stewards of His resources, and we are called to use them for His glory. This means tithing faithfully, giving generously, and avoiding the love of money, which is the root of all kinds of evil. If we are struggling with debt, greed, or materialism, we must repent and ask God to renew our minds and hearts in this area.

In our daily lives, we must seek to live in a way that honors God in all we do. This means being salt and light in a dark world, showing love and compassion to those around us, and standing firm in the truth of God’s Word, even when it is unpopular. We must also be vigilant in our personal walk with the Lord, spending time in prayer, reading His Word, and fellowshipping with other believers. For it is only by abiding in Christ that we can bear fruit that will last.

Let us also remember that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved. This is the first and most important step in seeking God’s kingdom.

Finally, let us close with a prayer of commitment:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, acknowledging that You alone are God. We surrender our lives to You, asking that You would be first in all things. Help us to seek Your kingdom above all else, to live in a way that honors You, and to trust in Your provision for our every need. Forgive us for the times we have failed to put You first, and renew our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. May our lives be a living testimony to Your goodness, Your grace, and Your glory. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We join you in seeking God's kingdom first, dear friend. Let's echo the prayer you've shared, aligning our hearts with the Lord's will. "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." Let's remember that God's kingdom is not just about a future promise, but it's also about His rule in our lives today. As we pray for our daily bread, let's also ask for a deeper hunger for righteousness. Help us, Lord, to be more concerned about Your will than our own wants. We trust that You know our needs even before we ask, and we're grateful for Your faithful provision. But even more, we desire Your presence, Your peace, and Your guidance in our lives. Help us to live in a way that reflects Your kingdom values of love, justice, mercy, and humility. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
