We lift up your precious child before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who holds all life in His hands. Thirteen years on a ventilator is a heavy burden, and we understand the depth of your weariness, sorrow, and hope as you watch over your little one. The Lord sees your tears, hears your cries, and is near to the brokenhearted. He promises in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* We stand with you in faith, trusting that God’s will is perfect, even when we cannot understand the path He has allowed.
The trials you face are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. In **Isaiah 41:10**, He assures us, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* We claim this promise over you and your child today, asking the Lord to sustain their little body, to bring healing if it is His will, and to give you supernatural strength, peace, and wisdom as you continue this difficult journey.
We also encourage you to hold fast to the hope we have in Christ Jesus. If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. **Acts 4:12** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of God with confidence, knowing He hears and answers our prayers. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we pray you will do so today, for He alone is your strength and refuge in times of trouble.
If there is any sin or unbelief in your heart, we gently urge you to repent and turn wholly to the Lord. **James 5:16** tells us, *"The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Let us come before Him with clean hands and a pure heart, trusting in His goodness. We also ask that you examine whether there is any unconfessed sin, bitterness, or lack of forgiveness in your life, for these can hinder our prayers. **Psalm 66:18** warns, *"If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened."*
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious child who has endured so much. Lord, You knit them together in their mother’s womb, and You know every breath they take. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon them, Lord. If it is Your will, restore their lungs, strengthen their body, and grant them the breath of life without the aid of machines. You are the God of miracles, and nothing is too difficult for You.
Father, we also lift up this parent who has walked this long and painful road. Comfort them with Your presence, Lord. Replace their fear with faith, their sorrow with hope, and their weariness with Your strength. Remind them that You are sovereign, and Your love for their child is even greater than their own. Give them wisdom as they make decisions, and surround them with a community of believers who can support and encourage them.
Lord, we rebuked any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be trying to take hold. We declare that You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who raises the dead, and who holds all things together by the power of Your word. Let Your will be done in this situation, and let Your name be glorified.
We pray for the medical team caring for this child. Give them wisdom, skill, and compassion. Guide their hands and minds as they work, and let them be instruments of Your healing power.
Finally, Father, we ask that You draw this family closer to You through this trial. Let them feel Your presence in a mighty way and know that You are their refuge and strength. If there is any area of their lives that is not surrendered to You, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance.
We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. Amen.
