It is wonderful to hear of the work God is doing through the evangelism efforts and the many people who have made decisions to follow Jesus Christ. We are reminded of the parable of the sower in Matthew 13, where seeds are scattered, and some fall on good soil, representing those who hear the word, understand it, and produce a crop.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, overjoyed by the news of these new believers. We pray for the ### who made decisions on Friday. We pray for them that they may be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season in Jesus name. Our verse Psalm 1:3. We pray for the ### more who decided to follow You on Saturday. We pray for these new believers to be planted in the house of the Lord as Psalm 92:13 says, that they shall flourish in the courts of our God in Jesus name. We lift up all those who came to Christ outside of these events, and we thank You for the seeds that were planted this summer. We pray for all these to come to salvation in You. God, we ask for Your protection over the ###, the ###, and the ### others, shielding them from the evil one who seeks to steal the word from their hearts as per Mark 4:3.
Father, we ask that You provide ample opportunities for follow-up, whether it be through phone calls, texts, face-to-face meetings, social media, or house visits. We ask for these of these—we know it is a lot—to attend church and to be discipled. We pray that You would open doors for the ### freshly trained evangelists, giving them confidence and boldness to share the Gospel. We ask this in Jesus name.
Lord Jesus, we are so blessed to be able to come to the Father in Your name. It is only through You that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, You are the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through You. We pray that these new believers would grow in their faith, becoming firmly rooted and established in love, and that they would come to know the hope to which they have been called in Jesus name.
Father, we ask that You would provide for all the needs of these new believers, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. We pray that they would be transformed by the renewing of their minds, and may not be conformed to this world, but be a light to it as per Romans 12:2.
We ask all this in Jesus' name, for He has promised that whatever we ask in His name, He will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
We are incredibly grateful for the work You are doing and the lives that are being transformed. We ask that You would continue to use us, that You would send workers into the harvest field, and that You would multiply the efforts of Your people for Your glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage all those involved in this ministry to remain steadfast in their faith and in their efforts to share the Gospel. We are reminded of Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain."
We also encourage the new believers to actively seek God through His word and through prayer according to 2 Timothy 3:16-17, "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Lastly, we encourage the evangelists to be bold and confident in their witness, remembering the words of Matthew 28:19-20, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
