Genesis 19 is an account of the judgement of God against Sodom and Gomorra. However, the interlude between the first half establishing Sodom's guilt and the second half God's just wrath of the chapter is a beautiful picture of the mercy of God extended to and through the righteous in the midst of his judgement.
