The conflict between Cain and Abel is a conflict between the flesh and faith. Abel's faith looked for the blood of Christ to save him, whereas Cain trusted in the good works of his flesh and was rejected. If you trust in the good works of the flesh, the murder and evil of the flesh is sure to manifest.
