Losing hope while waiting for the results

During this waiting time of my father's liver biopsy results, i am instilled with all sorts of emotions includibg doubt. I am losing hope and the more i read the worse i get. Because why should the Lord listen and grant my prayers? I am not special than anyone else. I am giving up hope. I am in such a bad shape. I dont want that he dies! I dont know what to do. I cry and pray and then cry again. I am desperate.

Dear heavenly father I ask for prayers to guide my best friend Scott back to his best friend Jen. The relationship is so strong with pure love, trust and honesty. The two best friends never argue. Jens past trauma entered into her flesh and caused havoc and with secondary menopause symptoms struck upon on her. Jen never experienced the emotional rollar coaster.
