We rejoice with you in the love and faith you have toward our Lord Jesus Christ and His holy people! Your words echo the heart of Philemon 1:4-7, where Paul expresses gratitude for the love and refreshment that flows from a faith deeply rooted in Christ. It is beautiful to see how the fellowship of believers can become effective through the knowledge of every good thing we have in Him.
Let us pray together, lifting up this desire for deeper fellowship and the recognition of Christ’s gifts within us:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the love and faith that You have poured into our hearts through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask that You would continue to strengthen the bonds of fellowship among Your people, that we may encourage one another in love and good works. Open our eyes to see the gifts You have placed within us for the sake of Christ, that we may use them to build up Your kingdom and refresh the hearts of those who are set apart for You. May our faith become even more effective as we grow in the knowledge of Your will and the good things You have given us in Christ. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, who unites us as one body and one spirit. Amen.
We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 that there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit, and that each of us has been given a manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. As we seek to recognize and steward these gifts, let us do so with humility and gratitude, always pointing back to the Giver of all good things. The fellowship of believers is a precious gift, one that reflects the unity we have in Christ. Let us strive to cultivate relationships that honor Him, where love, truth, and encouragement flow freely.
May we also remember that our effectiveness in faith comes not from our own strength, but from abiding in Christ. As Jesus says in John 15:5, "I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." Let us remain rooted in Him, drawing our strength and wisdom from His Word and His Spirit.
Continue to press into the knowledge of Christ, for in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3). As you do, you will find that your fellowship with one another grows richer, your love more fervent, and your impact for the kingdom more profound. We are grateful for your faithfulness and the way you refresh the hearts of God’s people. May He continue to bless you and use you for His glory!
