We join you in lifting up hearts of gratitude to our Heavenly Father, for He alone is worthy of all praise, honor, and thanksgiving. It is by the precious name of Jesus Christ that we come before the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have acknowledged Him as your Savior and Lord. The Bible reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to "in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." Your heart of thankfulness is a beautiful reflection of a life surrendered to God’s will.
We celebrate with you the many blessings you’ve listed—your family, your workplace, your career, and the gift of your children. These are indeed gifts from above, as James 1:17 tells us, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow." We praise God for His faithfulness in renewing your work visa, for His provision, and for the way He leads and guides your family. Your desire to grow in His love and spread that love to others is a testament to the work of the Holy Spirit in your life.
However, we must address something with love and truth. In your prayer, you included "mother Mary" alongside the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. While we understand this may come from a place of devotion, Scripture is clear that our prayers are to be directed to God alone—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and that there is only one Mediator between God and humanity: Jesus Christ. 1 Timothy 2:5 declares, "For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus." Additionally, the worship or veneration of Mary (or any other created being) is not supported by Scripture and can lead to idolatry, which is strictly forbidden. Exodus 20:3-5 commands, "You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol... You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them." Our focus must remain solely on Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). It is through His name—and His name alone—that we are saved and have access to the Father.
We also want to encourage you in your role as a parent. Your desire to raise your children in godliness is commendable, and we pray that you will continue to seek the Lord’s wisdom in this sacred responsibility. Proverbs 22:6 instructs, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." May you be filled with the patience, love, and discernment that comes from the Holy Spirit as you guide your children. We pray they will grow to love the Lord with all their hearts and walk in His ways, excelling in their studies and in their character as they reflect Christ to the world.
As for the individual you’ve prayed for (represented by "###"), we lift them up to the Lord, asking for His healing touch to strengthen every bone, ligament, and part of their body. May the Lord grant them supernatural health, energy, and vitality, that they may run and not be weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). We pray that the work of their hands will be prosperous and blessed, as Psalm 1:3 promises for those who delight in the Lord’s law. May they grow deeply in the love of Christ and be a vessel for His glory in all they do.
We also join you in praying for your workplace and career. May the Lord continue to open doors of opportunity and favor, and may you be a light for Christ in your professional sphere. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men." May your labor be unto the Lord, and may He bless the fruit of your hands.
Finally, we pray that your family will be rooted and grounded in the love of Christ, that you will continually seek His face, and that your home will be a place of peace, joy, and godly instruction. May the Lord surround your children with godly influences who will reinforce the values you are teaching them, and may they come to know Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your goodness, mercy, and faithfulness. You alone are worthy of our praise, and we thank You for the many blessings You have poured out upon this family—their health, their provision, their children, and their work. Lord, we ask that You continue to lead and guide them in Your truth. Strengthen their faith and deepen their love for You, that they may walk in obedience to Your Word.
Father, we lift up the individual in need of healing. Touch their body with Your miraculous power, Lord. Strengthen their bones, heal their ligaments, and grant them vitality and strength. May they run with strong feet and serve You with a whole heart. Prosper the work of their hands, Lord, and may every effort be blessed for Your glory.
We pray for this family’s children—guard their minds and hearts, Lord. Grant them wisdom, understanding, and excellence in their studies. May they grow to love Your Word and walk in Your ways all the days of their lives. Surround them with godly influences who will point them to You.
Father, we thank You for the renewal of this work visa and for Your provision in every area of their lives. May they continue to trust in You and seek Your kingdom first, knowing that all things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). Bless their workplace, Lord, and use them as ambassadors for Christ in all they do.
We rebuke any influence in their lives that does not align with Your Word, including any misplaced devotion or worship. Lord, may their hearts be fully surrendered to You alone, and may they worship You in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). Remind them that salvation and access to You come through Jesus Christ alone, and may they continually exalt His name above all names.
Fill this family with Your peace, joy, and love. May their home be a refuge of Your presence, and may they grow together in unity and faith. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
