Hey standers,
Today I want to talk about something near and dear to all of us......life after restored marriage.
Today I was walking through a parking lot and it started raining but after a while it stopped and the sun came out, well about 5 minutes later it started raining again. It reminded me of life and marriage.
You see right now it feels like we are going through a storm that will never end but trust that there will be sunshine. Remember though, there will also be rain again. Right now we are going through marriage and life boot camp. We are learning about God, ourselves, how to be better spouses and praying that our spouses will be changed into the children of God and spouses that he wants them to be also. We are earning our stripes and being trained to handle those future problems that the enemy will bring across our paths again.
It would be nice if this present day storm was the last one that we will encounter but it won't be. Once our spouses come back we all will need to continue to stand and pray just as hard, if not harder, than we do now. The enemy never takes a vacation from trying to destroy God's perfect will for our lives so we should never take a vacation from praying and building our families lives on the solid rock of Jesus. Never forget that there are storms today, but sun tomorrow, followed by more rain and more sun. With Jesus as our savior and rock there will always be sun and Jesus will always be our shield during the rain.
Jesus is the Son of God. He is also the Sun shining through our rain clouds. Never doubt that the Son of God will bring sunlight into our marriages and families. Never doubt that he will be the sunlight that shows our prodigal spouses the way out of darkness.
Remember stand, fight, pray, and believe. Sunshine is coming.
