Prayer Of The Day — Forgiving My Husband Sin

Dear God,

I lift up my relationship with my husband to you. I know that he struggles with his own personal sin and I know that you are transforming him. Sometimes I get hurt by his sin. It affects me too. This makes it all the more difficult to forgive him. However, you have given me grace for my sins even when I hurt you. Thank you for forgiveness and thank you for grace and mercy. I pray that I would be able to forgive my husband like you have forgiven me. Help me to extend grace to him. Help me to see him as the man he is being transformed into. Thank you Lord for helping me overcome the hurt and pain of my husband’s sin. May you continue to protect our marriage in Jesus name AMEN!

Oh Father, We stand in the gap and intercede for this request that only You can handle. Please perform a miracle in their behalf based upon the very stripes that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ took upon His back and the precious blood He shed before He ever even went to that terrible cross. We know these truths from Your Word and claim them according to 1Peter 2:24. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
