Prayers For Strength Through Hardship

For the first time in my husband and I's lives, our utilities (electric) will be shut off at 4:30 pm today. We have two children in the home, and no one to go stay with. He was laid off and I'm on disability for Lupus, they would not allow us an extension. Our only hope is that the community outreach here can help by the time the electric company comes, but they are out of funds and trying their best. Please, I beg of you to pray for us for strength through this. With God, we can manage...but we need the reassurance and spiritual guidance to be strong.

God Supply all our need. Cause us to be blessed in every area of our life. Most importantly bless and cause our body, soul, and spirit to prosper by being built up in the Word of God in truth and understanding. Bless us to take excellent care of ourselves (physically, mentally, and financially) for the glory of God. Teach us how to maintain a daily time of solitude for prayer, bible reading, and meditation for our spiritual growth. For this to happen, help us manage our time for maximum effectiveness. Let the lifestyle we live be shaped by the Word of God. God be glorified in the life we live. Rule and reign in our heart, mind, body, and soul as You rule and reign in heaven. Let our light shine so brightly in this dark world for You Lord Jesus, that men, women, and children, will see our good works, and glorify our Father, Jehovah God, which is in heaven. Let the plans that You, Jehovah God, have planned for us come forth and materialize. Place a hedge of protection and a wall of fire all around us. Keep us safe from all hurt, harm, and danger. Be our refuge, fortress, our ever present help in the time of trouble. Bless our going out and coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Thank You God. Amen, so be it.
