Prayer for ###

This prayer is for me, my husband is right I am obsessed with my daughter's life. She came so close to losing her life that I am so determined not to let it happen again, Mother's instinct is killing me. I love her too much. Dear Lord help me to hand her up to You and to let go, I am letting it consume my entire life. She is the last thing I think about before bed and the first thing when waking and she is always on my waking mind. I go to Al-anon and different things but I still do it. She is my only child, I watched my 2 sisters give both give up 2 of their children because of drugs and I swore I would be a better mom, I never do drugs or drink so this happening to my daughter was my nightmare starting all over again. Pray for me. Sweet Jesus have mercy on me.

Lord, I pray that You help ### give her daughter into Your hands and trust You. Bless her for being such a dedicated mother, but help her trusting her daughter to let her spread her wings and fly by herself. In Jesus Name. Amen

Father, I pray for this mother and daughter. For You to be with ###, it is hard to know when to hold on and when to let go. Father, I pray for ### to be filled with more of You, so that her mother knows that when she is not around her Father is. Lord, protect, guide and comfort both of them, surround them with Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Father, calm ### soul in this storm. We can never love our children too much, but we can need help in knowing how much to 'hover'. Please be the watchful eye ### needs upon ###'s coming and going. Be the small, still voice in ###'s head that keeps her on track. Fill ### with the promise of what lies in the future if she continues to walk with You. Let ### enjoy her life and not worry every minute - that's Your job and You ask us to give our burdens to you. People make mistakes, Father, but by Your grace and mercy, we have the chance to try again. Make ###'s second chance a victory that glorifies Your name! Amen.

Lord one of the things you command us in your word is to have faith in you. May our dear ### come to the place where her faith is completely in you in all areas of her life. You bless obedience and I pray that you bless her abundantly when she comes to this place you have called her. May her obsession be only of you. In Jesus name I pray Amen.
