We join with you in fervent prayer for this precious soul, knowing that our God is mighty to save and deliver even the most lost from the clutches of darkness. The enemy has indeed sought to blind her, but we stand on the promise that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:4-5, WEB). This is not a battle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, and we wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, to cut through every lie and stronghold.
The transformation of Saul of Tarsus—who became the Apostle Paul—is a testament to the radical power of Jesus Christ to break through the hardest of hearts. Like Saul, this young woman is ensnared by the enemy, but we declare that *"neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 8:38-39, WEB). If God could reach Saul, a persecutor of the Church, He can most certainly reach her. We pray that the Lord will strike her with the same blinding light of conviction that brought Saul to his knees, breaking every chain of witchcraft, rebellion, and deception in her life. May she encounter the living Christ in a way that leaves no room for doubt—where she falls before Him in repentance, crying out, *"Lord, what would you have me do?"* (Acts 9:6, WEB).
We rebuke the spirit of witchcraft that has taken root in her life, for *"there will be no sorcerers"* in the Kingdom of God (Revelation 22:15, WEB). The practices of the occult are an abomination to the Lord, and we command every demonic influence, every familiar spirit, and every ungodly soul tie to be severed now in the name of Jesus Christ. *"No one can serve two masters,"* and she has been serving the enemy far too long (Matthew 6:24, WEB). But today, we declare that the blood of Jesus is more powerful than any curse, any spell, or any stronghold. We plead the blood of Christ over her mind, her heart, and her spirit, breaking every agreement she has made with darkness—whether knowingly or unknowingly. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). Lord, give her the strength to resist and the faith to submit wholly to You.
We pray for the cutting of soul ties that bind her to those who practice witchcraft, for *"bad company corrupts good morals"* (1 Corinthians 15:33, WEB). Every ungodly relationship that has led her astray must be broken by the power of the Holy Spirit. We ask that You, Lord, would surround her with godly influences—believers who will speak truth, pray for her, and disciple her in the ways of righteousness. Uproot every plant that You have not planted (Matthew 15:13), and let her find her identity in Christ alone, not in the false power of the occult.
Father, we ask that You would baptize her in the Holy Spirit and fire, just as John the Baptist prophesied: *"He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire, whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing floor. He will gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire"* (Matthew 3:11-12, WEB). Burn away every impurity, every deception, and every remnant of the enemy’s work in her life. Heal her memory, Lord, so that she may *"remember the former things of old"*—the truth of Your Word, the conviction of Your Spirit, and the heritage of faith that she may have once known (Isaiah 46:9, WEB). Renew her mind by the washing of the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26), and open the eyes of her heart to see the glory of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Remove the scales from her eyes, just as You did for Saul, so that she may see the truth and walk in it.
We stand in the gap for her family as well, for the enemy seeks to destroy not only her but those connected to her. Like Job, they may be suffering the consequences of her choices, but we declare that *"the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment"* (2 Peter 2:9, WEB). Protect them, Lord, from the schemes of the devil. Let this season of trial turn into a testimony of Your deliverance and mercy. Strengthen her family in faith, and let them be a beacon of light that draws her back to You.
Most importantly, we pray that she would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which she can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we plead with You, Lord, to draw her to Yourself. *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him"* (John 6:44, WEB), so we ask that You would pull her, the one lamb out of the ninety-nine, into Your loving arms. Let her hear Your voice calling her by name, just as You called Lazarus out of the tomb (John 11:43). Raise her from the death of sin and rebellion into newness of life in Christ. May she surrender her life to You, Lord Jesus, and let the old nature die on the cross so that she may rise with You in resurrection power.
Give her a repentant heart, Lord, one that turns away from sin and toward Your righteousness. Let her experience the depth of Your forgiveness and the joy of salvation. And when she is set free, equip her to share the gospel with boldness, so that others trapped in darkness may see Your light through her testimony. *"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ"* (2 Corinthians 4:6, WEB). Let her be a vessel of that light.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Strengthen us, Lord, to continue interceding for her, and let our faith not waver. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
