We lift up your husband before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to draw him near with cords of love and kindness. Father, we pray that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of Your Word. May he seek You with his whole heart, surrendering every part of his life to Your will. We ask that You would renew his mind and transform him by the power of Your Holy Spirit, making him more like Christ each day.
The Bible tells us in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." Lord, we claim this promise over his life. Remove any hardness of heart and fill him with a deep desire to follow You. May he walk in holiness, set apart for Your purposes, and lead his family with wisdom and humility.
We also pray for his spiritual growth, that he would be a man of prayer and the Word, seeking Your guidance in all things. Strengthen him to be the protector and provider You have called him to be, loving his wife as Christ loves the church, as Ephesians 5:25 instructs: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it." May his love for you overflow into his marriage, cherishing and honoring his wife as a precious gift from You.
Father, if he has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, we pray for his salvation. Soften his heart to receive the truth of the Gospel—that Jesus died for his sins and rose again so that he might have eternal life. May he confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, as Romans 10:9 declares. We ask that You would break any chains of unbelief and draw him into a personal relationship with You.
We rebuke any spirit of complacency, pride, or rebellion that may be hindering his walk with You. May he be quick to repent and turn from anything that displeases You. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, empowering him to live a life that glorifies You in every way.
Lord, we also lift up this marriage before You. Strengthen the bond between this husband and wife, that they may grow together in faith, love, and unity. Help them to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ, as Ephesians 5:21 teaches. May their home be a place of peace, joy, and godly love, reflecting Your glory to the world around them.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who alone can transform hearts and lives. Amen.
