More Prayer for ### - Lord please direct his heart!

Dear Lord,

You know ###’s heart right now. Help me to continue to be patient. Help me to WANT to wait and stand for our marriage. But you know that I am having a hard time putting up with his lack of attention to me. You know what he’s thinking, and I know you are still working. But when he comes home and doesn’t converse for the entire evening, it is so stressful.

Lord you know that our daughter's wedding is only 2 weeks away. Lord I pray that you will move in ###, touch his heart, help him to see that our relationship can be renewed. Help him to know how to work on it, how to love me again. I thank you for bringing him home, but I pray that he becomes more open, attentive, and can find it in himself to love me again. If he doesn't feel moved between now and then, help the wedding, the words of the pastor, and the words of Your Word during the service to move him in a way that touches his soul and his heart and renews our love.

Thank you for merely blessing me with his presence and for him putting his wedding ring back on. But please help him to realize that his depression requires some type of intervention either medical or otherwise and that his heavy drinking is not going to fix anything.

Keep me focused on YOU Lord. And keep the WANT in me for my husband to stay. Help me to not give up!!! And to remember that he is worth waiting for....and YOU Lord are worth waiting on!

lord help ###, help her to remember you are on the job, you are working, help her to be patient, lord it is so hard when we want all things to be balanced and all right again, lord show ### how to love ### and draw out his feelings and help him to be more open to her, lord deliver him from alcohol, lord give him the desire to be sober, help him in his depression and help him to see and understand the pain he is trying to drown with booze. lord help ### to wait upon you and keep her safe and remind her when she is frustrated that a few words can undo months of trying hard to do the right thing. lord be with ### and bring her the wisdom to know how to act and love and respond in the right way, in jesus name amen
