Colossians 1:9-12 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.

I am so, so, so tired of living like this. Always in fear of lights being turned off, car repossessed, no food, no money to go to the doctor for myself I am supposed to keep nitroglycerin on hand but can't afford to go to the doctor. Have to find the money for my husband to go to the doctor and buy his meds because his health keeps his job.

I really don't know the last time I was happy. My financial problems started at the hands of others. Yet I am the one paying the price. I feel like Jesus in a way, suffering because of others. Yet Jesus' suffering ended, mine seems to go on forever. I want it to end.

People will let us down, but God has promised us in Hebrews 13:5 - Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

I haven't received a notice for electricity being turned off yet, but our phone is disconnected, we have a three-day-notice for non-payment of rent.

This is because I chose to pursue education to better provide for my family. The people who could've helped us (myself and two 7 & 8 year old boys) with both financial and physical needs didn't approve of the education, nor the fact that it involved healthcare, due to their non-Biblical beliefs.

I understand where you're coming from, as I'm angry with those who let my family down, and I feel your frustration. I finished my education, but have yet to finish my credentials, and without transportation, it's essentially impossible to get the two boys to school and myself off to work without someone helping.

Perhaps the resentment towards those who have hurt us is causing us to remain at a standstill; wherein, those people are enjoying their lives without a care. However, those who have endured hardship will someday rise above it, while those who have had their day of fun in the sun will receive theirs, as well. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

I pray for you AND I to overcome the hurt, anger, grudges we harbor; otherwise, we are hindering OUR blessings.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
