I pray for the salvation of my marriage. My husband has left me. We have had lots of problems in our marriage. He took drugs, was in jail, and he drank a lot and was always out. He left because I was always telling him to stop drinking. Please pray for me and my marriage; this has upset me and my children greatly. I don't understand the selfishness of my husband. Please pray for us xx

I have prayed for you. First, don't blame yourself for trying to help your husband with his weaknesses. Satan knows our weaknesses and will use them to hurt our marriages and family. Pray for his salvation and pray that he will fall on his knees and repent. "STRONG TRIALS BRINGS STRONG FAITH." This is a trial: how obedient and how much do you believe in God that he can heal your marriage? God will hear you and he will turn your husband's heart. Faith is not knowing that God can but knowing that he will. I know your pain of separation, but we have to fight a good fight spiritually and don't ever give up. It might look impossible or hopeless for us, but not impossible for God. Pray that your husband will not find happiness or be satisfied until he comes back to you as your husband.

Marriage is the representation of Your relationship with us. No matter how bad we mess up and sin, You will always take us back and love us no matter what. So God please do the same thing here. Please help them get back to where the marriage was at the start and help them love each other. God drugs and alcohol are not true happiness. They may make You feel good, but it is not true happiness and it brings you lower. So please help him turn to You and do things to make You happy and not his sinful side.
