I think ### is inherently evil, he's not a Christian in fact, he is the exact opposite. I won't pray for him. I truly believe he is the antichrist and those who voted for him have been duped. I will pray for discernment for his supporters and for their salvation. I hope it's not too late. Incredulously, ### today was commending ### as being just like Andrew Jackson, a man responsible for the genocide of the ### through the ###, let us not forget his small pox blankets he gave to ### people The ### you so admire were no friends to the indigenous just as they were no friends to their own people, hench, the ###. I always forgive but I do not condone evil just as God does not.

I think the problem is where someone won't receive the words of The Bible, we are telling God how far we will trust and obey him. In 1 Tim 2:1-4 we are urged to "pray for all people, for kings and all in authority." I had the same discussion with my students back when ### was elected. It was a Christian school and my students were primarily conservative. I told them it didn't matter whether one likes the guy or not, or we or our parents voted for him or not, he is the President, and we are commanded to pray for him. We prayed for ### everyday. I don't know what those prayers accomplished, but later when The ### scandal occurred and almost forced his impeachment, I think abuse of power from a superior toward a younger woman was rebuked publicly, he being a public figure held the gaze of many, especially our youth.

If someone has an issue with the commands of Jesus, "You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous" (Matt 5:44-45; Luke 6:28-29) -- well again, this is telling Jesus how much of a leader one will allow Him to be. He later asks, "Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ but not do what I say? I will show you what he is like who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them: He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid his foundation on the rock. When the flood came, the torrent crashed against that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears My words and does not act on them is like a man who built his house on ground without a foundation. The torrent crashed against that house, and immediately it collapsed—and great was its destruction” (Luke 6:48-49).

May the Word of God and Teaching of Jesus regain the Place it already has in Heaven and with Angels in the minds of fallen humanity, who first erred by shaking of the limits of God in the Garden, and wondering, after the suggestion of Satan, "did God really say?' (Gen 3:1), in Jesus' Name.

### -- where I respect your opinion, I do not think asking what God asks in the Bible, that we pray FOR our Leadership and pray for even our enemies is prideful, if that is what you are referring to in your "pride comes before a fall" reference you posted... hmmm... I think that reasoning rationally from Scripture is the basis of The Greatest Commands of Scripture --

Later when asked, "Who is my neighbor?" Jesus gives the story of a Samaritan -- an outcast from Israel -- who loves an Israelite -- another example of loving and showing mercy to someone one may not usually be inclined to love because of ethnic or ideological background... "May the Word of the Lord run swiftly and be glorified, even as it did [with the Thessalonians]" (2 Thes 3:1), in Jesus' Name.

How on earth would Jesus ask for me or anyone to pray for someone whom

I genuinely believe to be the antichrist? Simply put, he wouldn't . There is no doubt in my mind that ### abused his powers but at no time did he incite violence or stand united with the KKK or any other racist entities. ### encouraged people to assault protestors , he never rebuked The Alt. Right or their racist agenda, he has portrayed ### as ###, all ### as ###, ### as ### that bleed from wherever and that he is able to grab them by their genitals on a whim. Has any other presidential candidate in the history of the US ever done that? How about the fact he never asks God for forgiveness but instead, relies upon himself to "do better."

God has no place in ###'s life because he believes he is a god. Don't get me started on his multiple affairs, bilking honest tradesmen out of their earnings, how he sexualises his own daughter or has been married three times. This man is the antithesis of Jesus Christ which leads me to one conclusion, he is the antichrist .

Im praying for the salvation of those who were so blinded by hearing, " Let's make America great again," while I and many others only heard the hate. One of the gifts the good Lord has given to me is spiritual discernment and I daresay until He tells me otherwise, I will retain my beliefs on this man and I will speak out against evil, always for my God!

So the written Word and command of Jesus is subjective to inner opinions of fallen man... Unfortunately, history has been Re-written -- I think it may do well to see some of the puritans who laid down their lives to bring the gospel to others, most notably, ### to The ### tribe in the 1700s...

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
