Guide and Protect ###

Guide and protect President-Elect ### and protect him and his staff from all evil influences not least of which are intimidation and compromise. Grant the U.S. the mercy of having President-Elect ### have the people in place to rebuild the United States to some small semblance of the great land the puritans gave us. Let us all commit to pray for him out of 1 Timothy 2:1-5 and may people on all sides accept the outcome of the election. Bring revival to our desperate country. Thank you for a speedy and peaceful transition and for a legacy that reclaims ground lost to the enemy, false religions, compromise and indifference. Guard us from the evil one in Jesus' Name.

As a Christian

I cannot pray for a man that I know to be inherently amoral and whom I believe to be the antichrist. As a Native American I will not pray for this country to turn back to its "puritan roots" which slaughtered not only my tribe but hundreds more. I will pray for The Lord to protect us from the enemy, racism, xenophobia, and hate, all things that Mr. ### encouraged during his incendiary campaign. I will pray for the Lord's protection from the immorality that ### supporters overlooked merely because a strongman lied to them and promised to go back to a more segregated time in history.

My Mom's side is Cherokee but I have come to discover not all who go to church are true believers -- You don't find the Mayflower people in wars. They had peaceful times with the Native Americans... The more you dislike someone, Jesus says the more you should pray "for" them -- "Pray for your enemies, bless them that curse... (Matt 5:44; Luke 6:28). God grant wisdom, in Jesus Name.

I think ### is inherently evil, he's not a Christian in fact, he is the exact opposite. I won't pray for him. I truly believe he is the antichrist and those who voted for him have been duped. I will pray for discernment for his supporters and for their salvation. I hope it's not too late. Incredulously, Fox News today was commending ### as being just like Andrew Jackson, a man responsible for the genocide of the Cherokee through the Trail of Tears, let us not forget his smallpox blankets he gave to Native people. The puritans you so admire were no friends to the indigenous just as they were no friends to their own people, hence, the Salem Witch Trials. I always forgive but I do not condone evil just as God does not.
