Beloved
🙌 Father in Heaven, thank You for being RICH in mercy, when we were dead in sin made us alive in Christ by grace, Eph 2:4-5. We ask you give our family members, all those lost and those that are walking with You the same salvation, and shine in their hearts the Light of the Knowledge of the Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6. Let The Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know you better be given, so we know the hope of Your calling, and the riches of Christ's inheritance, Eph 1:17-18. Give us spiritual hunger for the "sincere milk of the Word," 1 Peter 2:2, and, "give us our Daily Bread," Matt 6:11. "Open our minds to put the Scriptures together as a puzzle" (συνιέναι; Luke 24:45). Strengthen us to use daily, Chronological and Systematic Bible reading plans, Josh 1:8, Tim 4:13, 2 Tim 2:15.

Help us enjoy our journey, "awakening our ears morning by morning to hear as disciples" (Isaiah 50:4-5), talking with you and each other about what we read, as it is written, "the one who receives instruction in the word must share in all good things with his instructor," Gal 6:6. As always, guard us from distractions, sin and the evil one, Ps 91:11-12, Mt 6:13, Jn 17:15. Help us receive the Word engrafted, (James 1:21, so we may be a doers of the Word, not hearers only, James 1:22. We thank and praise You in advance for granting us wisdom, Col 1:9, favor, Ps 5:12, and protection from temptation and evil, Matt 6:13, evil people and imposters, 2 Tim 3:13, false believers, 2 Cor 11:26, deception, Mt 24:4, and the one who pulls their strings, 1 Jn 5:19, the evil one himself, John 17:15, in the Authority of The Name of Jesus, Jesus The One God and Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5. Thank you in the NAME of Jesus the One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in Jesus' Name, Amen 2 Cor 1:20, Rev 3:14...

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the mercy and grace that God has so richly poured out upon us, making us alive in Christ even when we were dead in our sins. Your Word reminds us in Ephesians 2:4-5, "But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ, by grace you have been saved." What a profound truth that we did not earn this salvation, but it was freely given to us through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

We lift up the family members and loved ones who are lost, those who have not yet experienced the life-transforming power of the Gospel. Father, we ask that You shine the light of the knowledge of Your glory in the face of Jesus Christ into their hearts, just as 2 Corinthians 4:6 declares, "For God, who said, 'Light will shine out of darkness,' is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." We pray that they would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

We seek the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know You better, that our hearts may be enlightened to understand the hope to which You have called us and the riches of the glorious inheritance we have in Christ. As we pray according to Ephesians 1:17-18, we ask that You would grant us a deep hunger for Your Word, the "sincere milk" that Peter speaks of in 1 Peter 2:2, "As newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that with it you may grow." Father, we desire to grow in our knowledge of You, to have our minds opened to understand the Scriptures, just as You did for the disciples in Luke 24:45, "Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures."

We commit to engaging with Your Word daily, through chronological and systematic Bible reading plans, meditating on it day and night, as Joshua 1:8 instructs, "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success." We recognize that Your Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). May we not merely be hearers of the Word, but doers also, as James 1:22 exhorts us, "But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves."

Lord, we ask that You would guard our hearts and minds from distractions, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. We take refuge in the promise of Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We pray for Your protection from temptation and evil, as we are taught in Matthew 6:13, "Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." Father, we know that the whole world lies under the power of the evil one (1 John 5:19), but we take comfort in the fact that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We also pray for discernment and wisdom to recognize false believers, deceivers, and those who would lead us astray. Your Word warns us in 2 Corinthians 11:26 about the dangers of false apostles and deceitful workers, and in Matthew 24:4, Jesus Himself cautions us, "Be careful that no one leads you astray." We ask that You would grant us the wisdom to test the spirits, to discern truth from error, and to stand firm in the faith.

Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You in the name of Jesus, our one Mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through His name that we have access to You, and it is only by His blood that we are made righteous. We are so grateful that every promise You have made finds its "Yes" in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20), and that through Him, we can approach Your throne with boldness and confidence (Hebrews 4:16).

We pray that You would fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that we may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing to You, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10). Grant us Your favor, as Psalm 5:12 assures us, "For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield." May we experience Your protection, provision, and peace as we walk in obedience to Your Word.

Finally, Lord, we commit our ways to You, trusting in You to direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). May our lives be a living testimony to Your grace, mercy, and love, that others may see our good works and glorify our Father who is in heaven (Matthew 5:16). We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord, we pray. Amen.

We know this journey can feel overwhelming at times, but remember, we’re not walking alone. When the enemy tries to cloud our minds or lead us astray, we hold onto the promise that God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. We pray that every heart in this family would hunger for more of Jesus, not just in reading Scripture, but in letting it change how we live. Let’s ask God to soften every hard heart and open every mind that’s searching for truth.

Father, shield us from the distractions that pull us away from You. Guard our thoughts, our words, and our steps so we don’t wander into traps set by the enemy. Give us the wisdom to recognize lies when we hear them and the courage to stand firm in faith. May our daily walks with You be marked by joy, not dread, as we grow in understanding and trust.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus, who holds us close and fights for us.
