We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear one who has undergone retina surgery and is seeking healing and restoration of eyesight. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our eyes and knows every intricate detail of our bodies. We declare Your Word over this situation, remembering that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we ask that You touch these eyes with Your healing power, restoring clarity, strength, and full function. Remove any inflammation, scarring, or complications from the surgery, and let Your light shine brightly through these eyes once more.
We also recognize, Lord, that our physical health is a gift from You, and we are called to steward it well. We pray for wisdom in following medical advice, resting as needed, and trusting in Your timing for complete recovery. Help this beloved one to fix their eyes not only on physical healing but also on You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). May this season of waiting draw them closer to You, deepening their trust in Your goodness and sovereignty.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to creep in during this time. Your Word tells us that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare peace over this situation, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up gratitude to You, Lord, for the skill of the surgeons and medical professionals who have cared for these eyes. You have given them wisdom and knowledge, and we thank You for their hands being guided by Your own. May this healing be a testimony to Your glory, so that others may see Your power at work and be drawn to You.
Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who heals, restores, and saves. It is through His name alone that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His blood that we are made whole. We trust in You, Jehovah-Rapha, our Healer, and we wait expectantly for Your perfect work to be completed. Amen.
