To love Him more than ever before and to continue to praise, honor and glorify His holy name. Our souls will find rest in Him alone. When trying times comes along, His presence will lead us through a pasture that no one can give us. When lifes burdens overwhelm us and challenge our increase in faith, the Lord will send angels from heaven to lead us all to His glorious presence in prayer and suplication. Help me o Lord. I need You today. I will need You forever. Spirit of the living God. Fill me with Thy Spirit. Love, mercy and compassion. We need You today and will need You forever. Create in me a clean heart o God, and put a right spirit in me. Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take away Your Holy Spirit from me...
The two advents of Christ by Charles Spurgeon ‘And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.’ Hebrews 9:27–28 Suggested Further Reading: Philippians 2:5–11 In the prophecy of his coming the first and the second time there was disparity as well as correspondence. It is true in both cases he will come attended by angels, and the song shall be, ‘Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, good will toward men.’ It is true in both cases, shepherds who keep watch over their flocks even by night shall be among the first to hail him with their sleepless eyes—blessed...
God created us in His own image, we do not come from monkeys like some evolutionists want us to believe. Jesus, full of love and compassion send us here to earth to be a blessing to many and to sing songs of praise to His holy name. With wisdom from heaven He created everything we see on earth. Our dear Lord wants to be found. In everything we see and do. He speaks through every sound. He works all around us. To make us all know that He is alive. His power and glory abounds. Just open your eyes and see the sky. He created it all. All glory to God almighty. Praises shall be unto Him now and forever more. Amen
Just one thought that came across my mind this morning: Christmas time: Jesus died for the world. This should be preached to the unsaved souls. So that they would come and repent at the foot of the Cross and come out of their grave. Easter: Jesus was resurrected. This should be preached to born again/saved people. It is for building of faith in evety area of our lives and in general. From faith to faith, from victory to victory. We are more then conquerors, amen!! But offcourse the one doesnt exclude the other. The whole message is the point of the GOOD NEWS of the GOSPEL, amen! May you all have blessed Christmas and New Year time...❤❤❤
Jeremiah describes a Pagan Custom very similar to Christmas In the following passage, Jeremiah describes a pagan custom that is very similar to Christmas in terms of its customs. Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. (Jeremiah 10:2-4) In other words, decorating Christmas trees is pagan and not biblical. Christmas is a Pagan Holiday The winter solstice is and was one of the most celebrated holidays for...
The real Christmas story is the story of God’s becoming a human being in the Person of Jesus Christ. Why did God do such a thing? Because He loves us! Why was Christmas necessary? Because we needed a Savior! Why does God love us so much? Because He is love itself (1 John 4:8). Why do we celebrate Christmas each year? Out of gratitude for what God did for us, we remember His birth by giving each other gifts, worshiping Him, and being especially conscious of the poor and less fortunate. The true meaning of Christmas is love. God loved His own and provided a way—the only Way—for us to spend eternity with Him. He gave His only Son to take our punishment for our sins. He paid the price in full, and we are free from condemnation when we...
I shall forever honor, praise and glorify Your holy name. You are doing great things to those who believe and trust your name. Our dear Lord is the greatest God we have ever known. He knows everything. He foreknows the future. He brought us here to earth. To be a light in a dark world. To love Him with all we have. To praise and honor Him. To glorify His holy name. Now and forever more. All glory, all honor and all praise shall be unto the Lord our God. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
Pleasing and serving God is the only way the Lord will touch our heart. Forgiveness of sin and living a holy a pure life in sight is another way to have the holy presence of Jesus living in our heart and home. The motive we have on earth in doing anything at all, it should be to please Him above all things. Up we go to see Him. The smiling face of the Lord. He want us all with Him. Never stop loving Him. Serve and adore His name. Wherever you are. The touch of heavenly hand. Shall come to all of us. In the presence of the Lord there is fullness of joy. Amen
Someone pointed this scripture out to me last week, and it was also in my scripture of the day app (no coincidences). It's actually one of my favorite scriptures: There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God. (Ecclesiastes 2:24, KJV) Enjoying the fruits of our labor is a good thing, but it's not all there is to life; particularly life in the Spirit. People get themselves into so much trouble with buffet bible. Even referencing this passage, if we'll simply back up a few verses, we can begin to understand the context in which Solomon was speaking. Then I looked on all the works that my hands had...
Jesus, You are the sweetest name of all. Jesus You always hears me when I call. Jesus You lift me up when I fall You are the sweetest name of all. Wonderful song to sing to the Lord. He really is the satisfier of our troubled soul. When we walk through the valley of shadow and death, He is on our side, leading our path that leads to our heavenly home. Jesus give us all. Peaceful spirit in the middle of trouble. Sufferings may come. Emptiness shall arrive. Jesus will take them away. Inner peace will feel our soul. A calm and quiet spirit. Smiling with confidence. Jesus love inspires confidence in Him. Hallelujah, we have found the Pearl of great price. The One who promised us a Comforter who shall be with us forever. He is...
