One on One Time With God

Psalm 63:1(KJV): O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirst for thee, my flesh longs for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.

God wants to spend time alone with you daily.   Daily set a one on one time with God with no interruptions.  This one habit will do amazing things to strengthen  your relationship with God.  It will also bless your emotional health, your spiritual life, and other relationships.

Let’s Pray: God I need my one on one time with You daily. So I am asking You in Jesus’ named bless me to make it a habit of spending time daily (with no interruptions) with You.  Let this be our special time.  Bless me to look forward to this quiet sweet intimate time alone with You praying, reading, meditating on Your Word, seeking Your face, and allowing You to minister to my heart and mind.  Let it also be a time of thanksgiving, praise, and worship unto You.  Let me daily reflect on Your goodness with thanksgiving and gratitude.  Let this be a non-negotiable appointment that cannot be interrupted or cancelled (and only rescheduled on the same day for a good reason).  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer to do for me, please do the same for the writer of this prayer, all those I love, and care about. Let us all see and understand the importance of having a one on one time with You daily.  Bless each of us to reap and share the benefits of our daily time together with You.  God I thank You for wanting to spend time alone with me.  God thank You for Your love, encouragement, peace, joy, and understanding.  Amen.

Embrace God's Love

Our God, Jehovah, longs for His children.  He has gone through extraordinary lengths to embrace us with His love through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Life can be hard sometimes (tests, trials, and tribulations).  And when we take our focus off of God and His love for us, life can be especially hard.  Sometimes even Christians can get so busy, distracted, pre-occupied, discouraged, depressed, stressed out,  or listen to the lies of Satan that we neglect to reflect on, or embrace God’s love that He has for us. We must keep our focus on God, embrace and trust in His love, stand on His Word, and pray.  When we do theses things we will have perfect peace.  The peace of God
, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name teach,  show me how, and cause me to embrace, abide, and rest in Your Love that You have for me in every season of my life, and in every situation that I go through (positive and or negative).  Don’t let me listen to the lies of  the enemy of my soul, Satan.  God help me to remember to reflect, embrace, and treasure the depths of Your love for me daily.  Help me, make me, keep my focus on You, trust in Your love, stand on Your Word, and continue to pray.  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for all those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer.

1 John 4:19 (NKJV): We love Him because He first loved us.

Romans 8:35, 37-39 (NKJV): Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I Do Not Cease To Pray For You!

Paul said, “I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers” (Ephesians 1:16NKJV).

This morning I was thinking about the people who encouraged me on my Christian journey. I find it refreshing and a blessing to pray for those people. They took their valuable time (time that they will never get back) to stop what they were doing to encourage and help me.  They interceded for me when God directed them, they prayed with me and for me.  They cheered me on when I was right, rebuked me with the truth when I was wrong. And it is always better to hear truth that cuts and then heals, than to hear a lie that caresses, and then kills.

Let’s Pray: God I lift up all those who You placed in my pathway, that took their valuable time to help me anyway that they could on my journey with You. God
I symbolically place each of them in Your hands, and I ask You in Jesus’ name take real good care of each of them.  Meet each one at the point of their greatest need.  Encourage them daily.  Lead, guide, and direct their footsteps in the way that You want them to go.  Do not permit anyone or anything to do them harm or stop them from fulfilling their God-given destiny.  Bless them.  Keep them as the apple of Your eye.  Make Your face to shine upon them.  Be gracious to them.  Lift up Your countenance upon them and bless them with Your peace. Enlarge their territory.  Let Your hands always be with them.  And keep them from evil, so that they will not cause pain or harm.  In Jesus’ name I pray.

Numbers 23:19 (KJV): God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Satan wants to steal the Word of God out of your heart and mind, so that he can discourage, kill, and destroy you spiritually, and then physically. If he can steal the Word of God out of your heart then you will be non-productive for the Kingdom of God. Satan steals through lies, doubt, fear, worry, greed, lust, unbelief, and tradition. Satan is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44).

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name teach me how to protect Your Word in my life, heart, and mind.  God don’t let Satan steal Your Word from me.  God don’t let me doubt You/Your Word.  Don’t let me walk in unbelief and or tradition. God bless me by teaching me how and causing me to listen, meditate upon, study, receive, and act on Your Word.  Bless and strengthen me to always give Your Word first place and final authority in my life. In the good and bad times let me hold unwavering to Your Word.  Teach me how to silence the enemy’s voice with his lies, enticements, deceitfulness, and discouragement.  Don’t let me cast away my confidence or my hope in You/Your Word. God You are faithful to Your Word.  Thank You God for planting Your Word in my heart and mind. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer. Amen.

There Is A Storm Coming

Mark 4:37: And there arose a great storm

Mark 4:39:  And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still.  And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

A little over two weeks ago I woke up thinking about one of my cousins. The Holy Spirit would have me warn her at times when a storm was about to come into her life.  He was warning her because He loves her and He did not want her blindsided.  But the Holy Spirit told me it frighten her when God would tell her that “A Storm Was Coming.”  So I stop telling her, but the storms would still come at times.

I said all of that, to say this, God said “A Storm Is Coming.” When He said it, I asked God was this storm for me personally, for the Body of Christ, or for this country.  God got quiet. I shut up. I started to pray, and prepare for a storm.  As I prayed, the Holy Spirit began to speak to my heart and share with me about the storm.

When God tells you a storm is coming, you need to prepare for that storm.  In the natural when they tell you a storm is coming, you make sure you have enough water and non-perishable food for at least three days. You make sure you have candles, matches, flashlights, your cellphone charged, and your car is full of gas.  Then you buckle down in a safe place until the storm passes.

But what do you do spiritually to prepare for a storm?  You pray, place your trust in God, and have faith God will bring you through the storm.  You pray for strength, to be able to handle and endure the storm.  You buckle down, shut down, and spend some quality time with Jesus in His Word; because Jesus can tell the storm to cease, and the storm will cease.  You fast if the Lord leads you, or you feel that fasting will help prepare you for the storm. Fasting draws you closer to Jesus to gain deeper fellowship with Him.  And I assure you in this storm you are going to need Jesus.

In our storms, Jesus is our light (candle and flashlight) in the dark.  He is our non-perishable food (the Bread of Life). He is our living water (the Holy Spirit) that flows from our innermost being.  He is our peace in the storm, whether He tells the storm to cease or not.  Jesus will bless us with peace that passes all understanding even in the storm.  He is our comforter.  Because sometimes God calms the storm, and sometimes He lets the storm rage and calms His Child.  We are not going to make it through this storm with light, peace, and comfort without Jesus.

There Is A Storm Coming!  You Need To Be Prepared!

Know God, Love God, Obey God

Mark 12:30: And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.

John 14:15:  If you love Me, keep My commandments.

John 14:23:  Jesus answered and said unto him, if a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

James 4:7-8: Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.  Draw near to God and He will draw near to you…

You cannot love a God that you do not know and you will not obey a God (not for long) if you  do not love Him.  To know God is to love God, to love God is to Obey God.  And you cannot obey God in your own strength, without submitting to God.

Let’s Pray:  God I ask You in Jesus’ name that I will come to know You in truth, fall totally in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. God in the process bless me with the strength and spirit of obedience to diligently submit to You and obey You.  Cause me to mature spiritually and learn to trust You with my life, each and every day of my life.

And may I be blessed as You have promised in Deuteronomy 28:2-13 (according to Your will for my life), Deuteronomy 31:8, Joshua 1:5,8-9,  Psalm 91:2-16, Psalms 138:7-8, Jeremiah 20:11, Isaiah 54:17, and 3 John 2. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for  the writer of this prayer, my family, my friends, and all those I care about.   Thank You Jesus. Amen, so be it, and it is so.

God Show Me Myself

1 Samuel 15:22(NKJV): So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice.”

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name, show me, make it plain,  “if” there is any area or areas  in my life that I am walking in rebellion or disobedience to Your Word and Will for my life.  Do the same for the writer of this prayer.  Do not let us resist Your correction, but help us to be open to Your voice and honest with You when You show us the areas that we are walking in rebellion.  Strengthen us not to lie to ourselves, but repent, ask for Your forgiveness, and do what is right in Your sight.  Thank You Jesus for loving me just as I am; but loving me so much more and greater that Your love for me will not let me stay the way that I am, when it displeases You.  Thank You Jesus for loving me and correcting me.  Amen.

1 Corinthians 10:1 (NKJV) No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Philippians 1:6 (NKJV): Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

“A dishonest heart cannot admit it is dishonest.  A lying heart cannot admit it is a lying heart, because it lies to itself.”

I Want What God Wants For My Life

"A Man or Woman who Wants What God Wants Can Have Anything That They Want!"

I heard a sister in Christ testify that she went through physical and emotional abuse with the man “she” chose to marry.  When she complained to God about her husband, God spoke to her heart and said, "You chose this man over My will for your life."  She knew before she married him, that it was not the will of God for her life.  But she wanted him.

Sometimes we want what God does not want us to have (even Christians).  And there are some Christians who will go against God’s will for their wants.  My advice to any Christian is to never choose anything over the will of God for your life (man, woman, friend, relationship, profession, etc.), and that includes who you vote for.  When God says this is not my will, we need to accept it, and thank the Lord.  Because God knows what is best for each of us, and God only wants the best for each of us, even when we don’t.

When we knowingly go against the will of God, it is called rebellion. Rebellion in God’s eyesight is the same as witchcraft.  Rebellion tells God, “I want what I want regardless of what You say, and God I am going to do what I want to do regardless of how You feel about it.”  This is a very dangerous place to be with God.  It is a terrifying dreadful thing to fall in the hand of a living God (Heb. 10:31).  Saul played "the rebellion game" with God, and he lost.  All Christians who knowingly play "the rebellion game” with God will not win and may even suffer in the process.

Keep in mind, no one is perfect; no Christian is perfect.  But God states in His Word, Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).  God is always working on us, perfecting us. That gives me peace. But Rest assured whatever we place before God will fail us.  God loves us and God will forgive us.  But there will always be consequences when we rebel against God’s will for our life.  In God’s wisdom, He allows the consequences to keep us away from further rebellion, sin, and its effects.  Thank God for His love and forgiveness. Thank God for the consequences that teaches and reminds us to obey God.

Let's Pray:  God I ask You in Jesus’ name instruct and teach me in the way You want me to go.  Counsel me with Your eyes upon me.  Give me ears to hear Your still small voice and the heart of love to obey You.  Develop and mature me into a child of God that only desire and wants what You want for my life.  And when You tell me “No” let me accept it in peace, tell You thank You in joy, and obey You willingly in Your strength.  God all that I have asked of You to do for me in this prayer, please do the same for all those I love, care about (especially my family), and the writer of this prayer.  Bless each of us to only desire and want what You desire and want for each of our lives.  God if You don’t want us to have it (whatever “IT” is), don't let any of us be tempted above our strength to walk away from it.  God always make a way for us to escape and bear it.  God let Your perfect will, not your permissive will, be done in each of our lives. Amen, So Be It!

God Is With You

Those who have been called and chosen by God are not just a threat, but a weapon against the enemy of God, Satan.   Satan is God’s enemy and the enemy of your soul if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.  Satan hates you and he will use anyone who will let him (including Christians)  be a tool in spiritual warfare to fight against you.  But rest assured child of God that the Lord is on your side.  God is with you as a mighty warrior, and no weapon formed against you will ever prosper.

Always remember not to focus on the enemy.  But keep your focus (mind) stayed on God and trust Him (Isaiah 26:3).  Rebuke the spirit of fear. God has not given you the spirit of fear, but love, power, and a sound mind (2 Tim.1:7).   Draw near to God and God will draw near to you,  get serious with God, don’t dabble in sin, guard your heart, and don’t be double-minded (James 4:8). Commit to reading and meditating upon God’s Word daily (Joshua 1:8).  Develop your prayer life (learn how to pray for you).  Always submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you (James 4: 7).   And trust the Lord as your only protector (Psalm 25:15).   Once you and I understand the spiritual dangers we face on a daily basis, we will keep our focus on God, because God alone has the power to protect and deliver us.

Isaiah 54:17: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Jeremiah 20:11-12:  But the Lord is with me as a mighty, awesome One.  Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper.  Their  everlasting confusion will never be forgotten.  But, O Lord of host, You who test the righteous, and see the mind and heart, Let me see Your vengeance on them; for I have pleaded my cause before You.

2 Timothy 1:7: For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Let’s Pray The WordGod I ask You in Jesus’ name honor Isaiah 54:17 and Jeremiah 20:11-12 over the life of the writer of this prayer and my life today, tomorrow, and for always.  Be with the both of us as a mighty (warrior) awesome one.  Let no weapon that is formed against us ever prosper. Cause our enemies to stumble, and not prevail.  Every tongue that shall rise up against us in judgment, God You condemn.  Let our enemies be known for what and who they are.  Cause our enemies to be greatly ashamed.  Let them not prosper and let their everlasting confusion never be forgotten.  Let us see Your vengeance on them; for we have pleaded our cause before You. Let this be our inheritance.  Because we are not only Your children and servants, but because You call us Your friend. May we always love You with our lives (with all our heart, soul, mind, body, and all our strength).  And may we always purpose in our hearts to live our lives to honor and please You in spite of what the enemy of our soul attempts to do or who allows him to use them.  Thank You Jesus for loving us and protecting us. Thank You for not giving us the spirit of fear, but blessing us with power, love, and a sound mind. Thank You Jesus for blessing our enemies by showing them that You take care of what belongs to You. We belong to You.  And may one day they come to accept You as Savior and Lord. Thank You God for honoring this prayer over our lives today, tomorrow, and for always.  Amen, So Be It And It Is So In Jesus’ Name.

911 - Emergency Family Prayer

911 - Emergency Family Prayer

Psalm 16:8(NLT): I know the Lord is always with me.  I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.

Isaiah 46:4 (NIV): Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

God I have some members of my family who are going through some hard times right now.  Some are going through depression, doubt, and disbelief that You will come through for them.  Some are going through sicknesses, addictions, financial problems, and marriage problems.  Some want to throw in the towel and call it quits because they feel defeated and hopeless.  And there may be one or two  who are having suicidal thoughts.  They are tired God.

Pray For Your Family: God I am asking You in Jesus name to step into the lives and homes of each of my family members who are going through this season of hardship, and please bless, heal, and deliver each of them (including myself).  Fix what is wrong in our lives and homes and make it right.  Speak to our hearts and minds and let each of us know You are there with us and for us.  Encourage, strengthen, and give us hope in You. God give us instructions, the strength, and the help we need to follow those instructions.  God let us know everything is going to be alright.  Let us know that You are in control.  That You are working out all things in our lives for our good.  God let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in each of us.  Bless my family with faith and trust in You.  Give us the faith to pick up our Bibles, read the promises You made to us, pray and cry out to You for our family and our-self.   God bless us all with a God solution focus mind and attitude.  God do this for each member of my family (including the writer of this prayer).  In Jesus’ name I pray.  Thank You Jesus. Amen.

Happy New Year 2017 Prayer

Happy New Year 2017
A  New  Year's  Prayer  For  You

God Thank You for allowing me to live to see another day, another New Year. With all that is within me I say, Thank You Lord Jesus. I praise You. I bless Your Holy name. You are the reason that I am alive today. From eternity to eternity You alone are Lord, my God. There is no other Savior or God. There never has been, and there never will be. You are Life, my Living Water, and Living Bread. You are God, my Father, the Great I Am, God Almighty. You are the Head of my life, the breath that I breathe, the beat of my heart, and the length of my days. You are Lord, the only true and living God, and I am so in love with You.

God I ask in Jesus’ name, "Let this be the best year ever for me, and each year following even better. Step in my life and perfect the things that concern You and I. Teach me discipline in every area of my life. Bless my spiritual walk with You. May our relationship flourish, grow deeper, richer, and sweeter. Bless me physically. Teach me how and cause me to take care of me (body, mind, heart, soul, and spirit) in an excellent way that brings You glory. Teach me how to schedule time alone with You to rest my body and mind, and just soak and bask in Your love for me. Teach me how to sit at Your feet and allow Jesus to minister to my heart. That is what is needed in my life, that good part, which cannot be taken away from me.

God bless my finances and cause me to prosper. Teach me how to tithe not only with money, but also with my time and talents. Make me a wise steward over all You have and will bless me with. Bless me to prosper and continue to grow intellectually as well as spiritually. Help me to keep my focus on You and what You have called me to do. Bless me to become all that You created me to be. Make me a success in Christ Jesus.

God teach me time management and organization skills. Teach me how to prioritize and organize my life. God help me get and keep my priorities in order. Teach me to value the time You have given me and not waste it so that I will accomplish all that needs to be done in my life, family, career, home, and for You in an excellent and timely manner. God get my life, family, and home in order. Show me what is and what is not important. Show me what I need to be concerned about and what I don't need to be concerned about. God, do not let me waste the time that You have blessed me with.

Remind me daily, engrave it upon my heart, You have called me by name, I am yours. Let me never place anything or anyone in Your place, before or above You. Bless, direct, motivate, and strengthen me to place Your interests, reputation, and commands over all other opinions or beliefs in my life. Remind me to pray about everything, seek Your will in the matter, and allow You to direct my footsteps. Let Your will and approval for my life control my life. Everything that I go through let me ask myself: How can I please and honor You God in this situation? Then strengthen me to obey Your will. Let Your Will be done.

Teach me how and help me to block out the negative, the voices of the enemy that come to discourage, deceive, and destroy the dreams that You have given me. Lord teach me how to spiritually silence the dream killers, the lies, and the deceit of those who come to get my focus off of You and what You have called and told me to do. Most importantly teach me how to enjoy life the way You meant life to be enjoyed by me. In all things teach me how to give thanks. And remind me that all things will work out for my good because I love You and I am called according to Your purpose.

God bless me with a heart after Your own heart. Encourage, strengthen, instruct, and help me walk in the character of Christ Jesus. Let the life that I live exemplify Jesus’ life. Give me understanding of Your Word and strengthen me to be a doer of Your Word. Let the favor, wisdom, comfort, peace, and protection of God rest in and upon my life for the rest of my life. God I ask all these things so that I may be blessed and be a blessing. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer.  Amen, So Be It, And It Is So!"

God's Word

Romans 10:17:  So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
2 Timothy 1:7:  For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

God does not want you or me to live in a perpetual state of fear, worry, or anxiety. That is no way for a child of God to live. That is no way for anyone to live. God wants us to live in a perpetual state of faith. In order for you and me to live in a perpetual state of faith, trust, and rest in God, we need to be in God’s Word.  We need to know God better (His character).  We need to know God’s Word better (and continue to grow in God’s Word).  We need to know the promises that God has made to us and the conditions those promises were made. We also need to know who we are in Christ Jesus. We Need To Be In God’s Word.

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name teach me how to live in a perpetual state of faith, trust, and rest in You, Your Word, and the promises You made to me in Your Word. God give me the desire to live in Your Word (reading, listening to, studying, and meditating on).  God teach me how to encourage myself in the Lord.  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer.  Amen.

Everyone Please Read & Forgive Me

Prayer Partners,

I sent out a Christmas message and prayer. I made a mistake in the way I wrote the prayer for Isaiah
55:8.  Isaiah 55:8 states, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus' name consume, burrow, and nestle me in the chambers of Your heart God.  So that Your heartbeat becomes my heartbeat, Your thoughts become my thoughts, and Your ways become my ways. God consume my entire existence so that I will become all You created me to be and reflect Your glory. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for every member of my family, all those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer.  Thank You Jesus.  I love You Lord.  Amen!

Have A Blessed Christmas & 2017 New Year,

God Has A Plan

Child of God,

:~) If you ever think you have blown God’s plan for your life, rest in this, “You nor Satan is that powerful.”

:~) If you ever think that Jehovah God, the only true and living God, will answer the prayers of the wicked against one of His beloved children, rest in this, “Neither the prayers or thoughts of the wicked nor Satan is that powerful.” And only the prayers of the righteous avails much (has great power) with God (James 5:16).

:~) Please Remember: A loyal obedient child of God stands in the power of the Creator (Genesis 15:1Proverbs 18:10Ephesians 6:16), and is empowered by God’s blessing and immersed in His favor. God will always honor His children who honor Him with their lives. Look at the men and women in the Bible that were faithful to God.  Look how God blessed them.

Let’s Pray: God I ask in Jesus’ name that I will always purpose in my heart to honor You with my life. God bless me with the strength, knowledge, and wisdom to do so. God convict me when I am wrong, show me the right way, and bless me to humble myself and allow You to change my direction from wrong to right.  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for my family, friends, and the writer of this prayer. Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen.

All Things Working Together For My Good

Daily Confession: This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. I will not complain, because “All” things, good or bad, are working together for my good. Thank You Jesus.

Question: Why are things working together for my good?

Answer: Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for the good to them that (1) love God, and (2) to them who are the called according to His purpose.”

This promise is for every Christian, but God will not honor this promise over every Christian’s life if we (1) don’t love God, and (2) are not called according to His purpose.  God has a call on every Christian's life.  God's call on our lives does not come without a purpose.  God placed a call upon our lives for a purpose. You can’t walk in “your own purpose” doing what you want to do, when you want to do it, just because God has a “call” on your life.  You must walk in “God’s” calling, according to "God's" purpose for your life.

Let’s Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name bless me to fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength.  And bless me to walk in my calling according to Your purpose for my life; so that all things good or bad will work together for my good.  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer to do for me, please do the same for the writer of this prayer, all those I love, and care about. Thank You Jesus. Amen.

Mastering Your Mind

Philippians 2:5 states, “Let this mind be in you which is also in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:8 states, “Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Allow the mind of the Master, Jesus Christ, to master your mind.

Let’s Pray:  God I ask You in Jesus’ name, take the blinders off my eyes, and remove the deafness and earplugs from my ears so that I can see and hear You clearly and acutely.  Wash me thoroughly.  Cleanse and sanctify me from the world and the enemy of my soul.  Transform and renew my mind and heart in Your blood and Word.   Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me.   Enmesh (net, interlock, weave) Jesus’ mind into my mine.  So that I can and will walk in VICTORY as I hear and obey Your voice and Word.  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer to do for me, please do the same for the writer of this prayer, all those I love, and care about (especially each and every member of my family). Thank You Lord Jesus.  Amen.

Work On You

Child of God,

The best project you will ever work on and the best investment you will ever make is working on you.  Unless you invest in “yourself” and work on you, you will never fulfill your God given purpose.  That is a price we “all” must pay to fulfill our purpose here on earth.

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name that You will teach me how to invest in myself by growing my faith in You (investing my time, energy, and money for spiritual maturity/growth)  all the while  working toward achieving my God given goals and dreams.  Teach me how to invest in building healthy relationships, committing myself to life-long learning, and taking good care of my physical health.  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for the writer of this prayer, all those I love, care about, and everyone I bless with this prayer and message.

Invest in yourself and purposely walk in “The Grace to Let Others Be.” By letting others be, you free yourself to work on you and give full attention to what God is trying to make of you. You have neither the time nor the energy to “not” walk in the Grace to let others be.  Remember, where God has taken you, or where God is taking you, may “not” be on God’s agenda for someone else for several reasons. That may not be God's plan for their life. They may not be ready nor or they willing to pay the price. You must make that inner decision to walk in the grace to let others be.  The kind of grace that lets others be whoever and whatever God is leading them to be. (This is a quote by Charles Swindoll. I edited the quote to make it flow with my message).

Family Love Prays

Child of God,

I understand all too well that neither I nor you can dream for anyone in our family, but we can pray for everyone in our family.

Family Prayer: God I ask You in Jesus’ name bless each and every member of my family with the gift of salvation. Place labors in their pathway to minister salvation unto them.  Touch their hearts and minds. May all of us, (including myself) accept Your Son, Jesus Christ, as not only Savior, but “Lord of All” in each of our lives.  Bless each member of my family (including myself) to be delivered of what we stand in need of deliverance from.  God please save, heal, and deliver my family.

Bless each of us with the strength, love, desire (want to, longing, craving), knowledge, wisdom, and spirit of obedience to live our lives pleasing unto You.  May we all live a successful life in Christ Jesus.  Show us how to die to self daily (sometimes moment by moment) to every desire that we have that is not of You God.  Teach us how to crucify our flesh.  Let every desire we have line up to the purpose You created us for.

God bless each of us with the mind of Christ Jesus and a heart after Your own heart (a heart that beats to please You).  Bless each of us to dream the dreams of God and live our life according to Your will.  May we all live and walk in the fruit of the Holy Spirit.   Let none of us become conceited, provoking one another, being jealous of, or envying one another. Let this cease in our lives and in our family.

God keep my family safe. Protect each us from all hurt, harm, danger, and the plans of the enemy of our soul.  May we each fulfill the purpose that You created us for. May we each prosper, be in excellent health, and cause our soul to prosper in the Word and Ways of God.  God please in Jesus’ name, honor this prayer over each member of my family and the life of the writer of this prayer.  Thank You Lord Jesus.

I Refuse To Act Ungodly

My Christian Family,

I refuse to act ungodly (ugly or rude), with someone just because they are a Democrat, Republican, or Independent.  I refused to judge anyone because of the Political Party that they chose to belong to.  There are Christians who are Democrats that truly love the Lord. There are Christians who are Independents that truly love the Lord.   There are Christians who are Republicans that truly love the Lord.  I will at all times walk in love and respect toward everyone (especially toward my Christian brothers and sisters).  And if I can’t do that, I will excuse myself from the conversation; walk away in love, praying to God for peace, wisdom, understanding and clarity.

This is America.   Everyone has a right to their own opinion.  Everyone including Christians have the right to vote for whomever they want to.  As a Christian, I feel we should gather all the information about each Political Candidate we plan to vote for, and then we should acknowledge God first on whom to vote for, and allow God to direct us at the voting poll.  I am very much aware that there are "No" Christian Political Parties in the USA. But we as Christians together can change things (2 Chronicles 7:14).   It is when “we” the Christians (God's people) who are called by His name (stop practicing sin, stop calling wrong right, and right wrong), humble ourselves, pray, seek God's face, turn from our wicked ways, then God's people will hear from heaven and God will forgive our sins and heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

As A Christian Who Do I Vote For?

Psalm 75:6-7:   For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.   But God is the judge:  he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Please remember to pray and seek God on who He wants you to vote for. And always remember… God's promises to “His” children are based upon the Word of God, not who is President of the United States of America, or the men and women who make up the U.S. Congress. As long as Jesus Christ is sitting on the throne in Heaven, on the right hand of His Father, Jehovah God, it does not "personally" matter to me who live in the Presidential White House in Washington D.C., or who lives in the Governor’s State Mansion.

I don’t know about you, but I am not going to stress out every two and four years or act as if I am not a child of God because of political elections. As long as Jesus Christ stays our Savior and Lord, all is and will be well with our soul.  As long as we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, God is going to bless each of us with all that we stand in need of (Matthew 6:33).
When we delight ourselves in the Lord, God will bless us with the desires of our hearts (Psalms 37:4).

God has and God will always take care of His children, no matter who is or who will be the President of the United States of America. You have God’s Word on it. God’s Word is true.  It is impossible for God to lie (Numbers 23:19, Hebrews 6:18). But some "Politicians" will lie to get your support and vote for many reasons. Some will make promises that they can't keep and have no intentions of keeping.   Every promise that God has made to His children He will keep, based upon the Word of God.

We all have to stay prayerful and keep our focus on God. We are in a Spiritual War not a Political War.  We have to stay committed to Christ. I know that the gospel message will always clash with a prevailing system. But God is in control. The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: God turns it whithersoever way He wills (Proverbs 21:1).

There are many Democrats, Independents, and Republicans that are Christians; but there are no “Christian” Political Parties and there are no perfect Christians. No one is perfect (including any Political Figure or Political Party).  And when we expect perfection from anyone (including ourselves) we are going to be highly disappointed.

How do you determine a Godly politician? That is the million dollar question.  I know Republicans and Democrats who believe in “Abortion” and “Same Sex Marriage.”  Should I vote Republican because they say that they don't believe Abortion is right; although some of them have and pay for abortions?  Should I vote Republican because they say that “Same Sex Marriages” are wrong, even when some men and women we have elected are in a same sex marriage or relationship?

There have been “elected” officials that are “Republicans” involved in Gay Sex Scandals in the White House that was proven to be true.  I have read and seen on television “Democrats” that we elected who committed adultery, sex texting, and other lewd vulgar acts.  But this did not come out until they were elected.

So who do I vote for?  Do I vote for the lessor evil? Should I even vote at all?  Stay prayerful and vote for whom the Lord leads you to vote for.  I believe you can’t go by what a “Politician” may say or what he/she may promise you. You go by the lifestyle that they live (publicly and privately) and you keep your focus on God.

Please pray for those in leadership and authority (Democrats and Republicans). 1 Timothy 2:1-3 states: "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior…”

*Remember to pray and seek God on who He wants you to vote for and go out and vote. God will not lead you wrong.

Remember To Seek God On Who To Vote For!

Can All Prophecy?

Can All Prophecy?

Taking verses out of context leads to all kinds of error and misunderstanding.  Context is crucial to biblical exegesis in that it is one of its most important fundamentals.  Good biblical exegesis is actually commanded in scripture. “Study [be diligent] to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15).  To ignore context is to put ourselves at a tremendous disadvantage and walk in error concerning the Word of God.

I  have heard several people say that everyone can prophecy. This is not a true statement.  If everyone could prophecy then no one would have to desire or pray for the spiritual gift of prophecy. 1 Cor. 14:1 states, “Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.” 1 Cor. 14:39 states, “Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy.”

In 1 Corinthians 14:29-32, Paul is addressing those called to the office of a Prophet. “Let two or three “prophets” speak, and let the others judge.  But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent.  For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged.  And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.” In Verses 29 thru 32 Paul is addressing those who are called to the office of a “prophet.”  He was trying to keep order in the public church meetings.  All “prophets” can “prophesy” one after the other.

Just because we desire strongly or pray for the gift of prophesy does not mean that God is going to grant our desire. Sometimes God answers to our desires and prayers or “No”.  Jehovah is God of order, and He distributes the spiritual gifts to each one individually as He wills (1 Cor. 12:11).  God also knows our hearts.  Some people want the gift so that they will be seen, honored and glorified by man (John 5:44, 7:18), not so that the church may receive edification (1 Cor. 14:3, 12, 26).  God said, “He will not share His glory with another (Isaiah 42:8).  Some want to merchandise the gift to personally profit (2 Cor. 12:7).  And some are like Simon the Sorcerer, whose heart wasn’t right in the sight of God (Acts 8:21). God knows our hearts.

Just because God allows someone to give a word of wisdom or word of knowledge,  or give someone the gift of prophecy does not mean that they are called to the office of a prophet.  And just because someone says that God gave them a word, does not mean that word came from God.  1 John 4:1 states, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

I have personally seen too many people manufacture words or contradict the written Word of God.  I have witnessed many Christians who are not prophets try to compete, imitate, or flow as a person who is called to the office of a prophet. It was flesh going forth and not the Holy Spirit.  When God is in charged there can be no competition, competitive jealously, contradiction, or manufacturing of a “Word” from God.

Prayer Focus: God I ask in Jesus’ name let me always and forever only seek to honor You and be honored by
You using the spiritual and natural gifts that you have given me.  Never let me speak from my flesh, nor

seek my own glory.  Let me always hear Your voice clearly and accurately, and follow the leading of the

Holy Spirit. God close my ears and any open doors in my life to the voice of strangers (false prophets, false

teachers, those who come to deceive, speaking from their own spirit for their own glory or agenda). God all

that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer.  Neither one of us

have the time to entertain false prophets/teachers, nor do we choose to be confused because of false words

spoken to or over us.  Thank You Lord Jesus for answering this prayer. Amen.

Financial Prayer

The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10:22).

God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Eph. 3:30).

Child of God Let’s Pray: God I ask in Jesus’ name, bless my finances abundantly O Lord and bless me with the wisdom that I need to become a wise steward over all You have blessed me with. Teach me how to honor You Lord in my tithes, giving, and spending. Teach me how to pray over all my purchases and my giving.

God don’t let me buy or spend money on anything that I don’t need or You do not want me to have. Don’t let me be foolish in my spending and giving.  Only let me spend, buy, and or give to those whom You want me to give to after I have prayed and gotten the green light from You God to do so.

Let me be able to do more with less money.  Bless me with the best for less.  Help me catch the best sales on everything that I need.  Bless me so that I may be a blessing to the Kingdom of God (the work of the Lord). God all that I have asked You in Jesus' name to do for me in this prayer, please do the same for all those I love, care about,  and the writer of this prayer.  Bless each of us exceedingly abundantly above all we have ever prayed, dreamed, thought, or hoped for Lord Jesus. God You are our provider, our source, we look to You. You are our Shepherd, we shall not lack for anything that we need.  Thank You Jesus for providing for us.  Thank You God that the blessings of the Lord make one rich and adds no sorrow.  Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen.

Sowing Good and Not Evil

If all “Christians” would just study the book of Proverbs, a lot of us who wear the title of "Christian" would stop doing evil, being evil, and practicing evil.  I know that this may come as a surprise to some of you, but there are some “Christians” who practice evil.  The reason or reasons could be: their hearts may not be upright because they have not been delivered, or they don’t know the Word of God, or they are walking in rebellion to the Word of God, or this is just the way they were raised and they don’t know any better, or they just like being evil.  I really don't like being around “evil/wicked” Christians.  And as a minister, I sometimes have to be around them.  The reason why, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor, sick people do” (Matthew 9:12).  And evil/wicked  Christians are sick.  They have a heart problem.

Back to the book of Proverbs.  I have been living in the book of Proverbs for almost three months (this year). Three of the subjects that stand out to me in the book of Proverbs (in this season of my life) are the subjects of: wisdom, evil/wicked, and reaping/sowing. Proverbs 17:13 states, “Whoso rewards evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.” Galatians 6:7 states, “Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.” David in the book of 2 Samuel, is a great example of these two Scriptures.  The sword of evil stayed in David’s home because of what David did to Uriah.  But what David really did, was to take God’s good and returned evil (2 Samuel 12:10, Psalm 51:4).

There is a principle called sowing and reaping. You reap what you sow, more than you sow, and later than you sow. So sow good and not evil, so that you will reap a greater good and not a greater evil. Don't get weary in sowing good, because in due season, you will reap a great harvest of good.  If you sow evil, rest assured  in due season, you will reap a harvest of great evil (Galatians 6:7-9).

Let’s Pray: God I ask in Jesus’ name, deliver me from evil.  Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me daily.  Wash me thoroughly from all wickedness and cleanse me from all sin. Purge and wash me with Your Word, and I shall be clean. Then bless me with an understanding heart and mind to discern between good and evil, and bless me with the wisdom and strength to always depart from evil. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer. Amen, So Be It, and It is So.
