Strengthen Yourself in the Lord

I am reading a book called “Strengthen Yourself in the Lord: How to Release the Hidden Power of God in Your Life” by Bill Johnson. He points out in chapter three that “Thanksgiving” keeps us sane and alive. He said if we practice “Thanksgiving” as a lifestyle we can disarm hell!  This is a great book to add to your Christian library.

Let’s Pray: God I ask you in Jesus’ name let me live my life daily in such a way that nothing ever gets bigger than my consciousness of who You are, Your presence in my life, Your love for me,  and the promises You have made to me.  Let me always be aware of Your presence and expect You to invade my life and circumstance with the awareness of Your love and Your goodness that surrounds and infuses my life.  God in order for this to happen let me practice Thanksgiving unto You as a daily lifestyle.  Let me find myself daily thanking You, praising You, and worshiping You for who You are,  Your everlasting love that You have  for me, all my answered prayers, and how You have always come through for me.

God let me always keep my focus on You, walk in agreement with Your Word, and continue to give You  thanks in everything that I go through.  Because all things good or bad, You will use to work together for my good, to conform me into the image of Your Son, Jesus Christ.  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer, all those I love, and  care about.  God honor this prayer over each of our lives today and for always.  God Thank You For Loving Me! Amen!

PS: God and God's love for "YOU" is bigger than anything that you are facing today, or will face tomorrow (problems, sicknesses, depression, enemies,  loneliness,  etc.).

Yesterday I asked God about the eagle and the snake. How come the snake allows the eagle to kill it, when the snake has the power to kill the eagle?  I don’t know why I asked God that question. And I was not looking for the answer.  Last night I was on Pinterest and I saw a photo of an eagle and a snake.  Underneath the photo said...

An Eagle does not fight the snake on the ground or in the water. It picks it up into the sky and changes the battle ground. The snake has no stamina, no power and no balance in the air.  It is useless, weak and vulnerable unlike on the ground or in the water where it is powerful, wise, and deadly.  Take your fight into the spiritual realm by praying and when you are in the spiritual realm God takes over your battles.  Don’t fight the enemy in his comfort zone, change the battle grounds like the Eagle, and let God take charge through your earnest prayer. You’ll be assured of a clean victory.  Pray Without Ceasing! —Author Unknown

*Now I have seen where the eagle will attack a small snake on the ground and kill the snake.  And sometimes the snake still will try to bite the eagle in the sky.  But I do like the symbolism of the story: God, Prayer, Spiritual Warfare, and Victory.

Numbers 23:19:  God is not a man, that He should lie nor the son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

John 10:10: The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Colossians 2:7: Rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

When I woke up this morning, I heard the Lord say, “The enemy is trying to steal the Word of God out of your heart.”

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus' name, please don’t let me allow the enemy of my soul, Satan, come to steal the Word of God out of my heart and mind!  Don't let this happen to me.  Let me hide Your Word in my heart, mind, and my very being in the good and hard times (at all times). Let me hold fast (cling) to the Word of God no matter what the enemy of my soul tries to do.  God don’t let me play the fool and believe Satan’s lies.  Don’t let me be ignorant of his strategies.  Cause me to be and remain rooted, grounded, and built up in the Word of God.  Let my roots go so deep with depth in You and Your Word, that Satan can’t choke or uproot Your Word from my heart or mind. God You are Your Word.

God bless me with the love, desire and passion to continue to read, meditate upon, study, listen to Your Word, and confess Your Word over my life.  God Your Word is Truth.  Bless me to be established and rooted in the true faith of Jesus Christ; abounding in that faith with thanksgiving. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer to do for me, please do the same for the writer of this prayer, and everyone that I know that the enemy is trying to steal Your Word from.  God honor this prayer over our lives today, tomorrow, and for always.  Thank You Jesus! Amen, so be it, and it is so in Jesus’ name.

Lord Encourage Me

Habakkuk 2:3 (NKJV): For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Be encouraged.  Everything is going to be alright.  Remember, the just lives by faith. But that can be discouraging and overwhelming at times when we take our focus off of God.  Habakkuk, one of God’s prophets, became discouraged because he felt God was not moving quickly enough for him. God told him: But these things I plan won’t happen right away; but at the time I have decided. You can trust what I say.  It may take longer than you expected.  But keep on waiting.  I will do what I say I am going to do.  Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled.  If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient!  Keep on waiting. They will not be overdue a single day (Habakkuk 2:3 CEV and LBT ).  And what God spoke to Habakkuk, He could of spoken to Abraham, Sarah, Joseph, Moses, David, and to you.  Keep waiting on the Lord.  Don't get depressed nor discouraged.  What God say He will do, He will do.  Be Encouraged!

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name, Encourage Me!  Speak to my heart.  Let me know that everything is going to be alright and the best is yet to come.   Encourage me Lord Jesus to wait upon the blessings You have promised me.  Let me not get weary in well doing.  Let me not faint, but help me to wait on You and be of good courage, so that I will reap the abundant harvest that You have promised me.  But while I am waiting, Lord encourage me.  Strengthen me in my faith walk.  Help me keep my focus on You at all times.  Help me to keep a heart of worship and thanksgiving.   Bless me with the strength, peace, joy, encouragement and the spirit of obedience to continue to live a lifestyle that is pleasing unto You as I wait on You Lord Jesus to come through for me.  God come through for me. God don't let me be put to shame.   Encourage me Lord Jesus!  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer and all those I know who stand in need of encouragement today.  Encourage each of us Lord Jesus.  Amen.

I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth (Psalm 34:1).

But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint  (Isaiah 40:31).

But thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1Cori.15:57).

In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 Thes.5:18).

That I May Know Him

Philippians 3:10(KJV): That I may know Him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

“The purpose of our existence is to know God.  And that takes an eternity. For eternity is the time it takes to know God…So never make the mistake of thinking that  you know everything there is to know about Him. It’s when you think you know, that you stop knowing. And if it takes an eternity to know God, then how much is a lifetime of knowledge next to how much there is yet to know?

No matter how much you know, there will always be more…there will always be so much more.
No matter how much you know of Him, you’ve only just begun.  And that’s how you must always come, as one who doesn’t know the half of it, which will always mathematically be the case.   So you must come as a little child, as one who knows there’s so much more to know, and for whom everything is new.  Even the apostle Paul, who knew more of God than anyone else, even he wrote, ‘That I might know Him.’ If he could say that, how much more we.  So never stop seeking Him. Never stop pressing on to know Him…and to know more of Him…and more than that. For eternity is the length of time it takes to know Him…and a lifetime is just the beginning of eternity.
(Excerpt from The Book of Mysteries by Jonathan Cahn)

Prayer Focus: God I ask You in Jesus’ name that You will give me an unquenchable desire, passion, and hunger just to know, love, and understand You. Give me a heart that is open, receptive, and responsive to Your Word.   Bless me with a hunger that cannot be satisfied unless I am spending quality time with You seeking diligently to know You in truth in Your Word.  Bless me by placing other Christians in my life with this same passion and desire to know You in truth, so that I may know, love, and understand You better.  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer. Amen

Welcome To The Front Row. . .

Welcome To The Front Row. . .

EVERYONE CAN'T BE IN YOUR FRONT ROW

Life is a theater so invite your audiences carefully. Not everyone is holy enough and healthy enough to have a FRONT ROW seat in our lives. There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go, or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not going anywhere relationships, friendships, fellowships and family!

EVERYONE CAN'T BE IN YOUR FRONT ROW

Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention to: Which ones lift and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage? Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are just going uphill? When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse? Which ones always have drama or don't really understand, know and appreciate you and the gift that lies within you?

EVERYONE CAN'T BE IN YOUR FRONT ROW

The more you seek God and the things of God, the more you seek quality, the more you seek not just the hand of GOD but the face of GOD, the more you seek things honorable, the more you seek growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you, the easier it will become for you to decide who getsto sit in the FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the balcony of your life.

EVERYONE CAN'T BE IN YOUR FRONT ROW

You cannot change the people around you...but you can change the people you are around! Ask GOD for wisdom and discernment and choose wisely the people who sit in the FRONT ROW of your life. Remember that FRONT ROW seats are for special and deserving people and those who sit in the FRONT ROW should be chosen carefully.

"Don't let someone become a priority in your life, when you are just an option in theirs...Relationships work best when they are balanced".

You shall love the Lord your God

Deuteronomy 6:5 (NKJV):  You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

Matthew 22:37(NKJV):  Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”

Luke 10:27(NKJV):  So he answered and said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind.”

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name to bless me to come to know You in truth.   Bless me to love You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength.  Bless me with a true, undeniable, overwhelming, unquenchable, unstoppable, intoxicating love for You and Your Word.  Bless me with the desire, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and strength for today, tomorrow, and forevermore to walk in obedience to Your Word and Will for my life.  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for each member of my family,  all those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer.  Let the world and everyone in it see that we truly love You God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.  Thank You, thank You, thank You God for blessing each of us with the desire to know You, love You, and walk in obedience to Your Word and Will for our lives.  Amen.

Know, Love, Obey!  To Know God Is To Love God. To Love God Is To Obey God. You will not truly love God if you don't know Him.   You Will Not Obey God consistently  if you don't love Him.  Know, Love, Obey!

Talking, Texing, And Driving

If you talk and drive, please pray about stopping. In less than 48 hours I have seen two young boys have car accidents because they were on their phones. The conversations can wait. Your life and wellbeing is more important than a conversation. Pray about it. You can set your phone not to ring when you are driving.  Remember “No” driving and texting, “No” driving and talking on the phone, and “No” driving and drinking.

GOD IS LOVE!

1 John 4:8 (NKJV): He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

FYI: To love like God love is not natural. God has to teach us how to love like Him.

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus' name teach me how to love like You love God. And teach me how to love what You love, and hate what You hate God. God all that I asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for each member of my family, all those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer.  Teach us all how to Love like You Love.  Teach us all to love what You love and hate what You hate.  Thank You God. You Shall Come Forth As Gold

edfdd035fd8030a7e1b572a1710dd9b6.jpg

Job 23:10(KJV): But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

1 Peter 1:7(KJV):  That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

Remember, the Lord will allow you to go through seasons of spiritual battles for a reason, and they cannot go beyond His will and purpose for you. Ask the Lord to show you why these spiritual battles are taking place in your life. May God bless you as you go through these seasons of learning.

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus' name, "Why are You allowing this battle in my life?"  What is the purpose? Show me Lord Jesus. And God please don't let me waste this experience. Help me to relax, keep my  mind stayed on You, and  my focus stayed on the Word of God.  Bless me to learn and grow from this experience.  God strengthen me.  Keep me protected. Help me make it through, coming forth as pure gold tried in the fire that does not perish. Bless me with peace, joy, and understanding as I go through this spiritual battle. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, do the same for the writer of this prayer in Jesus' name.

One on One Time With God

Psalm 63:1(KJV): O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirst for thee, my flesh longs for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.

God wants to spend time alone with you daily.   Daily set a one on one time with God with no interruptions.  This one habit will do amazing things to strengthen  your relationship with God.  It will also bless your emotional health, your spiritual life, and other relationships.

Let’s Pray: God I need my one on one time with You daily. So I am asking You in Jesus’ named bless me to make it a habit of spending time daily (with no interruptions) with You.  Let this be our special time.  Bless me to look forward to this quiet sweet intimate time alone with You praying, reading, meditating on Your Word, seeking Your face, and allowing You to minister to my heart and mind.  Let it also be a time of thanksgiving, praise, and worship unto You.  Let me daily reflect on Your goodness with thanksgiving and gratitude.  Let this be a non-negotiable appointment that cannot be interrupted or cancelled (and only rescheduled on the same day for a good reason).  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer to do for me, please do the same for the writer of this prayer, all those I love, and care about. Let us all see and understand the importance of having a one on one time with You daily.  Bless each of us to reap and share the benefits of our daily time together with You.  God I thank You for wanting to spend time alone with me.  God thank You for Your love, encouragement, peace, joy, and understanding.  Amen.

Embrace God's Love

Our God, Jehovah, longs for His children.  He has gone through extraordinary lengths to embrace us with His love through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Life can be hard sometimes (tests, trials, and tribulations).  And when we take our focus off of God and His love for us, life can be especially hard.  Sometimes even Christians can get so busy, distracted, pre-occupied, discouraged, depressed, stressed out,  or listen to the lies of Satan that we neglect to reflect on, or embrace God’s love that He has for us. We must keep our focus on God, embrace and trust in His love, stand on His Word, and pray.  When we do theses things we will have perfect peace.  The peace of God
, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name teach,  show me how, and cause me to embrace, abide, and rest in Your Love that You have for me in every season of my life, and in every situation that I go through (positive and or negative).  Don’t let me listen to the lies of  the enemy of my soul, Satan.  God help me to remember to reflect, embrace, and treasure the depths of Your love for me daily.  Help me, make me, keep my focus on You, trust in Your love, stand on Your Word, and continue to pray.  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for all those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer.

1 John 4:19 (NKJV): We love Him because He first loved us.

Romans 8:35, 37-39 (NKJV): Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I Do Not Cease To Pray For You!

Paul said, “I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers” (Ephesians 1:16NKJV).

This morning I was thinking about the people who encouraged me on my Christian journey. I find it refreshing and a blessing to pray for those people. They took their valuable time (time that they will never get back) to stop what they were doing to encourage and help me.  They interceded for me when God directed them, they prayed with me and for me.  They cheered me on when I was right, rebuked me with the truth when I was wrong. And it is always better to hear truth that cuts and then heals, than to hear a lie that caresses, and then kills.

Let’s Pray: God I lift up all those who You placed in my pathway, that took their valuable time to help me anyway that they could on my journey with You. God
I symbolically place each of them in Your hands, and I ask You in Jesus’ name take real good care of each of them.  Meet each one at the point of their greatest need.  Encourage them daily.  Lead, guide, and direct their footsteps in the way that You want them to go.  Do not permit anyone or anything to do them harm or stop them from fulfilling their God-given destiny.  Bless them.  Keep them as the apple of Your eye.  Make Your face to shine upon them.  Be gracious to them.  Lift up Your countenance upon them and bless them with Your peace. Enlarge their territory.  Let Your hands always be with them.  And keep them from evil, so that they will not cause pain or harm.  In Jesus’ name I pray.

Numbers 23:19 (KJV): God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Satan wants to steal the Word of God out of your heart and mind, so that he can discourage, kill, and destroy you spiritually, and then physically. If he can steal the Word of God out of your heart then you will be non-productive for the Kingdom of God. Satan steals through lies, doubt, fear, worry, greed, lust, unbelief, and tradition. Satan is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44).

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name teach me how to protect Your Word in my life, heart, and mind.  God don’t let Satan steal Your Word from me.  God don’t let me doubt You/Your Word.  Don’t let me walk in unbelief and or tradition. God bless me by teaching me how and causing me to listen, meditate upon, study, receive, and act on Your Word.  Bless and strengthen me to always give Your Word first place and final authority in my life. In the good and bad times let me hold unwavering to Your Word.  Teach me how to silence the enemy’s voice with his lies, enticements, deceitfulness, and discouragement.  Don’t let me cast away my confidence or my hope in You/Your Word. God You are faithful to Your Word.  Thank You God for planting Your Word in my heart and mind. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer. Amen.

There Is A Storm Coming

Mark 4:37: And there arose a great storm

Mark 4:39:  And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still.  And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

A little over two weeks ago I woke up thinking about one of my cousins. The Holy Spirit would have me warn her at times when a storm was about to come into her life.  He was warning her because He loves her and He did not want her blindsided.  But the Holy Spirit told me it frighten her when God would tell her that “A Storm Was Coming.”  So I stop telling her, but the storms would still come at times.

I said all of that, to say this, God said “A Storm Is Coming.” When He said it, I asked God was this storm for me personally, for the Body of Christ, or for this country.  God got quiet. I shut up. I started to pray, and prepare for a storm.  As I prayed, the Holy Spirit began to speak to my heart and share with me about the storm.

When God tells you a storm is coming, you need to prepare for that storm.  In the natural when they tell you a storm is coming, you make sure you have enough water and non-perishable food for at least three days. You make sure you have candles, matches, flashlights, your cellphone charged, and your car is full of gas.  Then you buckle down in a safe place until the storm passes.

But what do you do spiritually to prepare for a storm?  You pray, place your trust in God, and have faith God will bring you through the storm.  You pray for strength, to be able to handle and endure the storm.  You buckle down, shut down, and spend some quality time with Jesus in His Word; because Jesus can tell the storm to cease, and the storm will cease.  You fast if the Lord leads you, or you feel that fasting will help prepare you for the storm. Fasting draws you closer to Jesus to gain deeper fellowship with Him.  And I assure you in this storm you are going to need Jesus.

In our storms, Jesus is our light (candle and flashlight) in the dark.  He is our non-perishable food (the Bread of Life). He is our living water (the Holy Spirit) that flows from our innermost being.  He is our peace in the storm, whether He tells the storm to cease or not.  Jesus will bless us with peace that passes all understanding even in the storm.  He is our comforter.  Because sometimes God calms the storm, and sometimes He lets the storm rage and calms His Child.  We are not going to make it through this storm with light, peace, and comfort without Jesus.

There Is A Storm Coming!  You Need To Be Prepared!

Know God, Love God, Obey God

Mark 12:30: And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.

John 14:15:  If you love Me, keep My commandments.

John 14:23:  Jesus answered and said unto him, if a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

James 4:7-8: Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.  Draw near to God and He will draw near to you…

You cannot love a God that you do not know and you will not obey a God (not for long) if you  do not love Him.  To know God is to love God, to love God is to Obey God.  And you cannot obey God in your own strength, without submitting to God.

Let’s Pray:  God I ask You in Jesus’ name that I will come to know You in truth, fall totally in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. God in the process bless me with the strength and spirit of obedience to diligently submit to You and obey You.  Cause me to mature spiritually and learn to trust You with my life, each and every day of my life.

And may I be blessed as You have promised in Deuteronomy 28:2-13 (according to Your will for my life), Deuteronomy 31:8, Joshua 1:5,8-9,  Psalm 91:2-16, Psalms 138:7-8, Jeremiah 20:11, Isaiah 54:17, and 3 John 2. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for  the writer of this prayer, my family, my friends, and all those I care about.   Thank You Jesus. Amen, so be it, and it is so.

God Show Me Myself

1 Samuel 15:22(NKJV): So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice.”

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name, show me, make it plain,  “if” there is any area or areas  in my life that I am walking in rebellion or disobedience to Your Word and Will for my life.  Do the same for the writer of this prayer.  Do not let us resist Your correction, but help us to be open to Your voice and honest with You when You show us the areas that we are walking in rebellion.  Strengthen us not to lie to ourselves, but repent, ask for Your forgiveness, and do what is right in Your sight.  Thank You Jesus for loving me just as I am; but loving me so much more and greater that Your love for me will not let me stay the way that I am, when it displeases You.  Thank You Jesus for loving me and correcting me.  Amen.

1 Corinthians 10:1 (NKJV) No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Philippians 1:6 (NKJV): Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

“A dishonest heart cannot admit it is dishonest.  A lying heart cannot admit it is a lying heart, because it lies to itself.”

I Want What God Wants For My Life

"A Man or Woman who Wants What God Wants Can Have Anything That They Want!"

I heard a sister in Christ testify that she went through physical and emotional abuse with the man “she” chose to marry.  When she complained to God about her husband, God spoke to her heart and said, "You chose this man over My will for your life."  She knew before she married him, that it was not the will of God for her life.  But she wanted him.

Sometimes we want what God does not want us to have (even Christians).  And there are some Christians who will go against God’s will for their wants.  My advice to any Christian is to never choose anything over the will of God for your life (man, woman, friend, relationship, profession, etc.), and that includes who you vote for.  When God says this is not my will, we need to accept it, and thank the Lord.  Because God knows what is best for each of us, and God only wants the best for each of us, even when we don’t.

When we knowingly go against the will of God, it is called rebellion. Rebellion in God’s eyesight is the same as witchcraft.  Rebellion tells God, “I want what I want regardless of what You say, and God I am going to do what I want to do regardless of how You feel about it.”  This is a very dangerous place to be with God.  It is a terrifying dreadful thing to fall in the hand of a living God (Heb. 10:31).  Saul played "the rebellion game" with God, and he lost.  All Christians who knowingly play "the rebellion game” with God will not win and may even suffer in the process.

Keep in mind, no one is perfect; no Christian is perfect.  But God states in His Word, Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).  God is always working on us, perfecting us. That gives me peace. But Rest assured whatever we place before God will fail us.  God loves us and God will forgive us.  But there will always be consequences when we rebel against God’s will for our life.  In God’s wisdom, He allows the consequences to keep us away from further rebellion, sin, and its effects.  Thank God for His love and forgiveness. Thank God for the consequences that teaches and reminds us to obey God.

Let's Pray:  God I ask You in Jesus’ name instruct and teach me in the way You want me to go.  Counsel me with Your eyes upon me.  Give me ears to hear Your still small voice and the heart of love to obey You.  Develop and mature me into a child of God that only desire and wants what You want for my life.  And when You tell me “No” let me accept it in peace, tell You thank You in joy, and obey You willingly in Your strength.  God all that I have asked of You to do for me in this prayer, please do the same for all those I love, care about (especially my family), and the writer of this prayer.  Bless each of us to only desire and want what You desire and want for each of our lives.  God if You don’t want us to have it (whatever “IT” is), don't let any of us be tempted above our strength to walk away from it.  God always make a way for us to escape and bear it.  God let Your perfect will, not your permissive will, be done in each of our lives. Amen, So Be It!

God Is With You

Those who have been called and chosen by God are not just a threat, but a weapon against the enemy of God, Satan.   Satan is God’s enemy and the enemy of your soul if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.  Satan hates you and he will use anyone who will let him (including Christians)  be a tool in spiritual warfare to fight against you.  But rest assured child of God that the Lord is on your side.  God is with you as a mighty warrior, and no weapon formed against you will ever prosper.

Always remember not to focus on the enemy.  But keep your focus (mind) stayed on God and trust Him (Isaiah 26:3).  Rebuke the spirit of fear. God has not given you the spirit of fear, but love, power, and a sound mind (2 Tim.1:7).   Draw near to God and God will draw near to you,  get serious with God, don’t dabble in sin, guard your heart, and don’t be double-minded (James 4:8). Commit to reading and meditating upon God’s Word daily (Joshua 1:8).  Develop your prayer life (learn how to pray for you).  Always submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you (James 4: 7).   And trust the Lord as your only protector (Psalm 25:15).   Once you and I understand the spiritual dangers we face on a daily basis, we will keep our focus on God, because God alone has the power to protect and deliver us.

Isaiah 54:17: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Jeremiah 20:11-12:  But the Lord is with me as a mighty, awesome One.  Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper.  Their  everlasting confusion will never be forgotten.  But, O Lord of host, You who test the righteous, and see the mind and heart, Let me see Your vengeance on them; for I have pleaded my cause before You.

2 Timothy 1:7: For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Let’s Pray The WordGod I ask You in Jesus’ name honor Isaiah 54:17 and Jeremiah 20:11-12 over the life of the writer of this prayer and my life today, tomorrow, and for always.  Be with the both of us as a mighty (warrior) awesome one.  Let no weapon that is formed against us ever prosper. Cause our enemies to stumble, and not prevail.  Every tongue that shall rise up against us in judgment, God You condemn.  Let our enemies be known for what and who they are.  Cause our enemies to be greatly ashamed.  Let them not prosper and let their everlasting confusion never be forgotten.  Let us see Your vengeance on them; for we have pleaded our cause before You. Let this be our inheritance.  Because we are not only Your children and servants, but because You call us Your friend. May we always love You with our lives (with all our heart, soul, mind, body, and all our strength).  And may we always purpose in our hearts to live our lives to honor and please You in spite of what the enemy of our soul attempts to do or who allows him to use them.  Thank You Jesus for loving us and protecting us. Thank You for not giving us the spirit of fear, but blessing us with power, love, and a sound mind. Thank You Jesus for blessing our enemies by showing them that You take care of what belongs to You. We belong to You.  And may one day they come to accept You as Savior and Lord. Thank You God for honoring this prayer over our lives today, tomorrow, and for always.  Amen, So Be It And It Is So In Jesus’ Name.

911 - Emergency Family Prayer

911 - Emergency Family Prayer

Psalm 16:8(NLT): I know the Lord is always with me.  I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.

Isaiah 46:4 (NIV): Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

God I have some members of my family who are going through some hard times right now.  Some are going through depression, doubt, and disbelief that You will come through for them.  Some are going through sicknesses, addictions, financial problems, and marriage problems.  Some want to throw in the towel and call it quits because they feel defeated and hopeless.  And there may be one or two  who are having suicidal thoughts.  They are tired God.

Pray For Your Family: God I am asking You in Jesus name to step into the lives and homes of each of my family members who are going through this season of hardship, and please bless, heal, and deliver each of them (including myself).  Fix what is wrong in our lives and homes and make it right.  Speak to our hearts and minds and let each of us know You are there with us and for us.  Encourage, strengthen, and give us hope in You. God give us instructions, the strength, and the help we need to follow those instructions.  God let us know everything is going to be alright.  Let us know that You are in control.  That You are working out all things in our lives for our good.  God let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in each of us.  Bless my family with faith and trust in You.  Give us the faith to pick up our Bibles, read the promises You made to us, pray and cry out to You for our family and our-self.   God bless us all with a God solution focus mind and attitude.  God do this for each member of my family (including the writer of this prayer).  In Jesus’ name I pray.  Thank You Jesus. Amen.

Happy New Year 2017 Prayer

Happy New Year 2017
A  New  Year's  Prayer  For  You

God Thank You for allowing me to live to see another day, another New Year. With all that is within me I say, Thank You Lord Jesus. I praise You. I bless Your Holy name. You are the reason that I am alive today. From eternity to eternity You alone are Lord, my God. There is no other Savior or God. There never has been, and there never will be. You are Life, my Living Water, and Living Bread. You are God, my Father, the Great I Am, God Almighty. You are the Head of my life, the breath that I breathe, the beat of my heart, and the length of my days. You are Lord, the only true and living God, and I am so in love with You.

God I ask in Jesus’ name, "Let this be the best year ever for me, and each year following even better. Step in my life and perfect the things that concern You and I. Teach me discipline in every area of my life. Bless my spiritual walk with You. May our relationship flourish, grow deeper, richer, and sweeter. Bless me physically. Teach me how and cause me to take care of me (body, mind, heart, soul, and spirit) in an excellent way that brings You glory. Teach me how to schedule time alone with You to rest my body and mind, and just soak and bask in Your love for me. Teach me how to sit at Your feet and allow Jesus to minister to my heart. That is what is needed in my life, that good part, which cannot be taken away from me.

God bless my finances and cause me to prosper. Teach me how to tithe not only with money, but also with my time and talents. Make me a wise steward over all You have and will bless me with. Bless me to prosper and continue to grow intellectually as well as spiritually. Help me to keep my focus on You and what You have called me to do. Bless me to become all that You created me to be. Make me a success in Christ Jesus.

God teach me time management and organization skills. Teach me how to prioritize and organize my life. God help me get and keep my priorities in order. Teach me to value the time You have given me and not waste it so that I will accomplish all that needs to be done in my life, family, career, home, and for You in an excellent and timely manner. God get my life, family, and home in order. Show me what is and what is not important. Show me what I need to be concerned about and what I don't need to be concerned about. God, do not let me waste the time that You have blessed me with.

Remind me daily, engrave it upon my heart, You have called me by name, I am yours. Let me never place anything or anyone in Your place, before or above You. Bless, direct, motivate, and strengthen me to place Your interests, reputation, and commands over all other opinions or beliefs in my life. Remind me to pray about everything, seek Your will in the matter, and allow You to direct my footsteps. Let Your will and approval for my life control my life. Everything that I go through let me ask myself: How can I please and honor You God in this situation? Then strengthen me to obey Your will. Let Your Will be done.

Teach me how and help me to block out the negative, the voices of the enemy that come to discourage, deceive, and destroy the dreams that You have given me. Lord teach me how to spiritually silence the dream killers, the lies, and the deceit of those who come to get my focus off of You and what You have called and told me to do. Most importantly teach me how to enjoy life the way You meant life to be enjoyed by me. In all things teach me how to give thanks. And remind me that all things will work out for my good because I love You and I am called according to Your purpose.

God bless me with a heart after Your own heart. Encourage, strengthen, instruct, and help me walk in the character of Christ Jesus. Let the life that I live exemplify Jesus’ life. Give me understanding of Your Word and strengthen me to be a doer of Your Word. Let the favor, wisdom, comfort, peace, and protection of God rest in and upon my life for the rest of my life. God I ask all these things so that I may be blessed and be a blessing. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer.  Amen, So Be It, And It Is So!"

God's Word

Romans 10:17:  So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
2 Timothy 1:7:  For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

God does not want you or me to live in a perpetual state of fear, worry, or anxiety. That is no way for a child of God to live. That is no way for anyone to live. God wants us to live in a perpetual state of faith. In order for you and me to live in a perpetual state of faith, trust, and rest in God, we need to be in God’s Word.  We need to know God better (His character).  We need to know God’s Word better (and continue to grow in God’s Word).  We need to know the promises that God has made to us and the conditions those promises were made. We also need to know who we are in Christ Jesus. We Need To Be In God’s Word.

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name teach me how to live in a perpetual state of faith, trust, and rest in You, Your Word, and the promises You made to me in Your Word. God give me the desire to live in Your Word (reading, listening to, studying, and meditating on).  God teach me how to encourage myself in the Lord.  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer.  Amen.

Everyone Please Read & Forgive Me

Prayer Partners,

I sent out a Christmas message and prayer. I made a mistake in the way I wrote the prayer for Isaiah
55:8.  Isaiah 55:8 states, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus' name consume, burrow, and nestle me in the chambers of Your heart God.  So that Your heartbeat becomes my heartbeat, Your thoughts become my thoughts, and Your ways become my ways. God consume my entire existence so that I will become all You created me to be and reflect Your glory. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for every member of my family, all those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer.  Thank You Jesus.  I love You Lord.  Amen!

Have A Blessed Christmas & 2017 New Year,

God Has A Plan

Child of God,

:~) If you ever think you have blown God’s plan for your life, rest in this, “You nor Satan is that powerful.”

:~) If you ever think that Jehovah God, the only true and living God, will answer the prayers of the wicked against one of His beloved children, rest in this, “Neither the prayers or thoughts of the wicked nor Satan is that powerful.” And only the prayers of the righteous avails much (has great power) with God (James 5:16).

:~) Please Remember: A loyal obedient child of God stands in the power of the Creator (Genesis 15:1Proverbs 18:10Ephesians 6:16), and is empowered by God’s blessing and immersed in His favor. God will always honor His children who honor Him with their lives. Look at the men and women in the Bible that were faithful to God.  Look how God blessed them.

Let’s Pray: God I ask in Jesus’ name that I will always purpose in my heart to honor You with my life. God bless me with the strength, knowledge, and wisdom to do so. God convict me when I am wrong, show me the right way, and bless me to humble myself and allow You to change my direction from wrong to right.  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for my family, friends, and the writer of this prayer. Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen.

All Things Working Together For My Good

Daily Confession: This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. I will not complain, because “All” things, good or bad, are working together for my good. Thank You Jesus.

Question: Why are things working together for my good?

Answer: Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for the good to them that (1) love God, and (2) to them who are the called according to His purpose.”

This promise is for every Christian, but God will not honor this promise over every Christian’s life if we (1) don’t love God, and (2) are not called according to His purpose.  God has a call on every Christian's life.  God's call on our lives does not come without a purpose.  God placed a call upon our lives for a purpose. You can’t walk in “your own purpose” doing what you want to do, when you want to do it, just because God has a “call” on your life.  You must walk in “God’s” calling, according to "God's" purpose for your life.

Let’s Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name bless me to fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength.  And bless me to walk in my calling according to Your purpose for my life; so that all things good or bad will work together for my good.  God all that I have asked of You in this prayer to do for me, please do the same for the writer of this prayer, all those I love, and care about. Thank You Jesus. Amen.
