Come, let us bow down before the Lord our God who is full of mercy and compassion.   Let us worship Him in spirit and in truth.  Let us all kneel before the Lord who came down to save our souls from sin.    I will sing a new song unto Thee o God.  Upon an psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto Thee. Psalm 144.9      When You and I kneel before God who is omnipotent and mighty, no one can stand between Him and you.  He will protect you, He will care for you.  He will bless your life.   Trust His word.  Believe everything He said.   It took a miracle put this world in place.  It took a miracle to hang the stars in place.  But when He saved my soul, cleansed and made me whole.   It took a miracle of love and grace.

The Lord is so gracious and merciful to all of us.  He deserves all our praise and honor.   The Lord is righteous and in all His ways.  He wants the best for us.  Let us all raise our voice to Him.  I will bless the Lord at all times.  Wherever I am, whatever I am doing and whomever I am, I will praise and honor God.   O Jesus... You are so gentle and good to all of us.   You shine before us..   Guiding our steps towards heaven.   This world is not my home.  I am just passing through.  I am stranger and pilgrim on this land.  My home is in heaven.  Jesus is preparing for all of us a place that where He is that we should be also.   Lift up your hands and praise and adore His holy name.  Amen

  3. Your face o Lord is what I seek.  You have been so good to all of us who believe, who trust, who wait for You day and night.   Open the windows of your heart and see the beauty of the Lord.  Jesus... You are so gentle, so pure and so kind to all of us who trust and believe.  You shine before us like a bright morning star.   What a wonderful God we have.    I bow down before You o Lord.   Let us all enter into His holy presence with praise in your heart.   Honor Him, praise Him, glorify His holy name now and forever more.   Amen

  4. Here I am Lord, to hear Your voice.  To know that You love me and to see that You will be there for all of us.  When I saw Him by the waters edge, my heart trembled.  Still waving after the ship was gone and if someone would have screamed my name I would not heard anything at all.  But the voice of God was so clearly heard down deep in my soul.  I am with you... He said.  I will never leave you nor forsake you.  The sound of heaven, as the sound of many waters was coming from the throne of God.   Cries of adoration as men of every nation lift their voice to make His glory known.  Singing... Holy, holy, holy are You Lord.   What a celestial vision I had that evening when everyone was gone and i sat all alone.   Then I lifted my eyes to the sky above.  The stars of heaven were singing.   Holy, holy, holy are You o Lord our God almighty.  There is a special place for all of us in heaven where we shall sing songs of praise, of honor and glorify God forever and ever.   God is preparing for us a banquet hall of welcome.   For you and for me.   As we serve Him. and love Him and adore HIs name.   Our life on earth has never been wasted away.   We have gain an eternal price.   A Crown of Life shall be given to all who loves God with all their heart, mind and soul.    Praise God from whom all blessings flow.    Amen

  5. I was playing a game with in a small Bible group that met at a friend's home. A question came to me (when it was my turn to answer), What is on your throne? This person posed this question to me. It threw me for a loop because the rules of this game were that I must share the first things that came into my mind in utter honesty. Wow! Think about that for a moment.

At that time I answered (with my face turning red): My new computer, the things I bought when I shopped, the companionship of my dogs (my cats don't necessarily need me or pay attention to me unless I forget to give them their dry food). And I added other strange things like: office supplies, printer ink, exercise outdoors, and a group of troll dolls I stumbled across in a store for very cheap. I collect troll dolls. To me, it was such a variety of earthly and/or simple things, I was embarrassed to share it, but I did. And I discovered something about myself.

I discovered that parts of me are very small and shallow and I have a lot of room yet to grow in my walk with the Lord. The other part of my share about the things that are "on my throne" were signs that I was growing, yet still reverting back to being self-centered at times.

My prayer time then changed after that little game. I began to pray that God would guide me to volunteer in a ministry. It didn't have to be an important position. I just wanted to be useful and helpful to whatever group of people that I was sent to. I prayed that God would help me reach out more in my community to help people in pain or those that have experienced loss rather than sit safely in my little "office" typing on a backlit screen about wanting to help people. Take my words off the screen Lord, let me find people who need my help so I can use what little talents I have to improve lives.

Yesterday I wrote about how life seemed to have passed me by because I could never make up my mind what I wanted to be or do. Not making a choice is a type of choice too. A rather sad choice, actually, to end up doing nothing much because I was afraid. I was afraid of failing, of being turned down (because I had been turned down so many times). Or sadly, I didn't know where to start. How does a person find their calling? But I'm veering away from my topic about "What's On Your Throne"?

Here is my throne wish list for what I wish could be on my throne some point in time as I continue to grow as a Christian: a) God: more time with Him, even if it is just more minutes throughout my day. b) More prayer for other people in my family, prayer for those who have hurt me, prayer for people who never seemed to like me, prayer for those in the world who are without things I take for granted: water, basic food, transportation, basic medical care, communication, education, and on and on I could go, but I won't. c) making an effort to make new friends who are like-minded

I'm sure my throne list will grow. How about you? What's on "your throne"?

  6. Preserve your heart in peace, in joy and in happiness.  It is a gift that comes from heaven.  Jesus said.  In the world you will have tribulations. I have conquered it all.   Let no event of the word or your surroundings disturb you.  God is in control.  He decides our fate and the fate of the world.  All we have to do is to pray, to fast before the Lord to prepare our hearts to see Him coming in the clouds in majesty and great glory.   To meet the Lord in the air.  Therefore... bless the Lord o my soul... and all that is within me bles His holy name.   He has done great things for us and for everyone we care and love.  Bless His holy name now and forever more.  Amen
