I love You Lord. I sing praises to Your name o Lord. For Your name is great and greatly to be praised. If you love Jesus, bow down before Him in worship, in adoration, in praise to Him. He alone is worthy of all glory and honor. Give God the glory that is due to His name. Worship Him in the beauty of His holiness. Psalm 29.2 All things you think and those things you believe will come to pass. Just put all your problems under the cross of Jesus. He will take it all away from you. His precious Blood washes away all guilt, all worrry, all fear, all trembling that comes to our hearts. Rise up and start singing to Jesus. Sing unto the Lord a new song. Sing to Him praises to His name. Jesus delights in the praises of His people. O God, we bow down before You. We just want to thank you for being so good to all of us. Blessing us and showing us a better path that will lead us all to Your holy presence in heaven. Nothing we have brought to this world and nothing we will be able to take to glory. Help us to set our eyes on heaven where Jesus waits for all of us with open arms. Glory to Your holy name now and forever more. Amen

Except From My Book: THE BOLD STEP
Face to Face With a Hitch!
We all know the creation story. Gen 1 gives a vivid recollection of the course of creation. I have studied this story over and over and a few things are worthy of note:
*There was a problem, a hitch that would have constituted some kind of resistance to God's perfect design for earth and what was that?
It wasn't sin, satan, or demon.
It was emptiness, darkness and shapelessness!
(Take note of these three, we will be considering the latter on.)
What was God's attitude towards these three and what should be our attitude too?
God did two things: First, His Spirit brooded upon the face of the deep!
But why would He let His Spirit do so first? He is God, He would have told darkness to vanish! God does not do anything independent of His word and His Spirit. God will always consult His word and His spirit on any operation before commencing. This ascertains the unity of the God-head. I'll come to that shortly.
Secondly, by God's spirit brooding UPON the FACE of the deep, God was simply making it clear that He was in charge and total control of darkness. Why the face? The face because God's attitude towards stubborn issues is CONFRONTATIONAL and OFFENSIVE and this, too, should be our attitude.
This takes us to God's second action - Speaking to the situation. "Let there be Light"! What kind of sentences is this? It's a command! Here is God using His word to command the entrance of light. God was neither negotiating nor diplomatic with darkness and so, He gave a command! He spoke from His office and position as the one in charge. He did not talk the problem which was darkness, He did not go murmuring or complaining, He did not even examine or analyse the dept of the problem, we have no description of how dark the darkness was because that is not relevant. He gave a command! These, too, should be our attitude.
Do you know what baffles me the most as I go through this creation account?
God did not even mention darkness, one would expect Him to command darkness off first before calling light but He didn't. He simply spoke the solution He needed which was light! We all know that without light, we cannot do anything. I do not need to emphasise the significance of light. God knew that the entrance of His word is automatically the exit of darkness. God is not a brawler, He speaks what He wants and He does what He says .He consciously employed this medium to teach us that when the word of God saturates our life, we can't stumble in the dark; we would know exactly what we want; and get it with the Help of both His spirit and His word. God wants us to know that without light(insight and revelational knowledge of Him) there's bound to be misplace of purpose and priority " The entrance of the word giveth light and understanding to the simple" God Himself needed light first to help Him create every other thing including Man. He needed light to see, appreciate and bless His creation. We need light too to create every of our desires in life.
Something more to pounder over in this story is the fact that God Himself came face to face with a challenge; God had a picture of how He wanted the world to be but here was darkness, voidness and shapelessness staring Him at the face; that was a challenge! I thought everything would have been reorganised in it's proper place at the mere appearance of God. I'll submit that God wants us to know that no man born of a woman is without one challenge or the other. If God in His Almightiness, splendour, grandeur, majesty and power could come face to face with a challenge of that kind, then challenges are inevitable in life but our reaction towards it determines the outcome of the situation!
If what you want to do will become good and beautiful like God's perfect creation, then Expect a hitch, Confront the hitch and Speak forth your desired solution. God saw darkness but He spoke light. Everything God created where first created in His mind before the actual creation.........
For us, only for us He came. To give us hope, to live with Him forever. Yes, we were the reason that He gave up His life. We were the reason that He suffered and died. To a world that was lost He gave all He could give. To show us the reason to live. For undeneath the surface, below the harden crust we desire, we seek from the bottom of our soul, the joy, the peace and the happiness that we never had. Plant a seed of trust. Believe with all your heart that Jesus is the fountain of all joy. Hear the eternal word He said. No man can come to Me except the Father which hath sent Me draw him. And I will raise him up in the last day. John 6.44 Let us all come to Him in humble adoration. Knowing that He will save the souls of all the lost and shall raise them up in the last day. Precious Lord, We want to know You more. To love You and to adore Your holy name now and forever more. Amen

Mark 4:37: And there arose a great storm…Mark 4:39: And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
A little over two weeks ago I woke up thinking about one of my cousins. The Holy Spirit would have me warn her at times when a storm was about to come into her life. He was warning her because He loves her and He did not want her blindsided. But the Holy Spirit told me it frighten her when God would tell her that “A Storm Was Coming.” So I stop telling her, but the storms would still come at times.
I said all of that, to say this, God said “A Storm Is Coming.” When He said it, I asked God was this storm for me personally, for the Body of Christ, or for this country. God got quiet. I shut up. I started to pray, and prepare for a storm. As I prayed, the Holy Spirit began to speak to my heart and share with me about the storm.
When God tells you a storm is coming, you need to prepare for that storm. In the natural when they tell you a storm is coming, you make sure you have enough water and non-perishable food for at least three days. You make sure you have candles, matches, flashlights, your cellphone charged, and your car is full of gas. Then you buckle down in a safe place until the storm passes.
But what do you do spiritually to prepare for a storm? You pray, place your trust in God, and have faith God will bring you through the storm. You pray for strength, to be able to handle and endure the storm. You buckle down, shut down, and spend some quality time with Jesus in His Word; because Jesus can tell the storm to cease, and the storm will cease. You fast if the Lord leads you, or you feel that fasting will help prepare you for the storm. Fasting draws you closer to Jesus to gain deeper fellowship with Him. And I assure you in this storm you are going to need Jesus. In our storms, Jesus is our light (candle and flashlight) in the dark. He is our non-perishable food (the Bread of Life). He is our living water (the Holy Spirit) that flows from our innermost being. He is our peace in the storm, whether He tells the storm to cease or not. Jesus will bless us with peace that passes all understanding even in the storm. He is our comforter. Because sometimes God calms the storm, and sometimes He lets the storm rage and calms His Child. We are not going to make it through this storm with light, peace, and comfort without Jesus. There Is A Storm Coming! You Need To Be Prepared!Encourager Linda Flagg, M.A., B.S., BCPCLC
