"All things have been handed over to Me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him" (Matt 11:27; Luke 10:22). "Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls" (Matt 11:28-29).
"When you pray, say, Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your Name" (Luke 11:2).
The fact is that Jesus as The Son of God not only has all power and wisdom, but personally knew what His Father liked to talk about most. Consider His instructions on prayer a humble invitation to participate into God The Father's concerns for His Kingdom, The Earth and His Creation. Therefore it is wise to emulate both the example and teaching of Jesus and take His instructions to heart for many reasons, not least of which the blessing He gives to those who hear His Words and put them into action (Be like a wise person who builds his house upon the rock -- Matt 7:23-24) and also, to avoid the rebuke of calling Him, "Lord, Lord" but not taking his advice -- "Why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?" (Luke 6:46).
Our Father in heaven (Father, I draw near to You with confidence in His Fatherly goodness through Jesus, the Way, the Truth and The Life, No one can come to the Father except by You [John 14:6]. You are Holy, and dwell in inapproachable light, surrounded by holy angels and the spirits of righteous men made perfect [Heb 12:23], yet Your Presence cannot be contained, and reaches to me and through me by the Holy Spirit [Eph 1:22-23]).
I. These Are God's Petitions...
Hallowed be Your Name; (We pray for Your glory and reputation to increase [may we and others not use Your Name in vain, and may falsehood and lies about Your perfect character be replaced by wisdom and revelation into the true knowledge of You [Eph 1:17], Your kind and holy nature; AND may we and others see it more and more so we can image You and spread forth the knowledge of God in word and action as the waters cover the sea [Exodus, Isaiah, Habakkuk);
Your kingdom come, (May the church be nourished & cherished by the washing of the water of he Word and spread the gospel throughout all the world as a testimony to all the nations so that the end may come (Matt 24:24). May we experience the fruit of The Holy Spirit (Rom 14:17; Gal 5:22-23).
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (May we and all believers know, submit to and do Your will fully, completely, always, and constantly like the chosen angels, Jesus, and the spirits of the righteous in heaven -- May Your will come to pass in each and every situation on earth -- We Just Pray it Happens and Expect You to answer because it's Your will that Your will is accomplished [1 John 5:14-15])...
II. These Are Humanity's Needs...
Give us this day our daily bread, (We ask for Your provision: for favor, endurance, & wisdom on the job, finances, along with Your blessing, food & shelter, tithing to further the Kingdom and to show all belongs to You. Also grace us in reaching out to the homeless, remembering the poor -- We also request spiritual nourishment -- Breathe on Every Word in Scripture [Matt 4:4]; You are the Bread of Heaven [John 6]);
And forgive us our debts (May our relationship with You be improved by the confession of our sins -- help us hate them by the fear of the Lord [Prov 8:13]; turn from them and not repeat them -- sanctify us in the Truth: Your Word is Truth [John 17:17]),
As we forgive those who are indebted to us (May our relationships with others be improved by addressing areas of friction -- may we tear up the past due notices we have against each other and at the same time look out not only for our own interests, but also the interests of others [Phil 2:4]; that we would owe no one anything but to love each other [Rom 13:8; John 13:34]; May we have the attitude of Christ who took on the form of a Servant and obeyed until death on a cross [Phil 2:5-11]);
And lead us not into temptation (We ask You keep us from sinning like You kept Abimelek from sinning against Sarah [Gen 20:6]; And if we are tempted, in the midst of temptation, remind us, "no temptation has overtaken us that is not common to all humanity, and that You are faithful: You will not allow us to be tempted beyond our strength, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape, so that we may be able to endure [1 Cor 10:13]);
But deliver us from evil (Give Your angels charge over us [Ps 91:11-12]. We ask for protection over body, soul & spirit. Remember, Jesus prayed that You would not take us out of the World, but keep us from the evil one [John 17:15]).
In Jesus' Name (Power of Attorney -- The Father grants us when we are clothed with Christ and He won't deny His Name when used in Prayer [John 16:23]). Amen.
This disciple has humbled himself under the teachings of Jesus and His specific instructions to His disciples regarding prayer. I have gleaned a few things from men of faith and service throughout the centuries and have boiled it down to a few certain principles, below. My prayer is that we will all derive benefit and edification in communion with the Father under the Yoke of Our Lord (Master), Husband, King, and Shepherd, Jesus Christ, The Lord's Anointed Messiah, Our Teacher, or as Mary distinguished Him, Rabboni. Amen.
What kind of home we would have without Gods wonderful word? What kind of life we would carry without reading His holy written word? I am right at home when I start reading His wonderful promises that were written for us. I am going to prepare a place for you that where I am there you may be also. So, when you are tired and depressed, grab your bible and start reading from begining to end. On dark and dreary days start reading and obeying Gods word. When hungry and thristy come to Jesus and hear what He has to say. He speaks to us through His word. Thy word o Lord is a lamp unto me feet and a light unto my path. Psalm 119.105

I cried. Today I cried again. Though weeping from the same heart, the reasons could not have been more different.There is something that severs the soul when you realize that you hadn't been loved the way you thought or the way you had loved. Day before yesterday, I realized that someone in close relation to me fit that scenario in my life. As if that realization weren't hurtful enough, when I recalled the likely reason, I was overcome with grief. I was inconsolably saddened. Not because of something I had done to them; nor even something they had done to me. But because I realized that this person had harbored a resentment toward me because of that which they were caught in the act of attempting, disciplined sorely and prevented from doing.My sadness turned into sheer anger when I thought on the sequence of events throughout my life that confirmed what my heart and mind hadn't wanted to accept. For years this person had been coming between my familial relationships, getting in the midst of my social and professional relationships. And never seemed quite able to celebrate my accomplishments. So, when it seemed like I was on the verge of entering into a relationship with someone (in the natural), where I could possibly be exalted far beyond what they had ever attainted; they panicked and sprang into action to put a stop to it. What they failed to realize, is that I had already entered into such a relationship, with one whom they could never influence nor manipulate. I had briefly thought about going online and dogging them out in detail. But, the Bible says "be angry, but do not sin." Therefore, I instead, hid myself for a while, if you will, until my own indignation had subsided. I came to the conclusion that their obvious insecurity, even to this date, was too pathetic to give further energy to."BUT GOD." Literally turned my mourning into joy. Today I cried again, this time "tears of joy." Hurley, one of the homeless people who sleeps on the same street as me, gave me one the best gifts ever. The weather has been a little cold and rainy lately and I was layering my summer clothes, with only a light throw wrapped around me for warmth. Hurley, whose appearance is reminiscent of one who could, easily, be cast as Moses, long white beard and all, exhibited true brotherly love. (God is definitely rewriting my story. I'm creative, but, I simply can not make this stuff up.)Hurley, SEEING that I had no coat, blessed me with a bag full of coats and long sleeved blouses of many colors. So many that, after I took what I needed, there was enough left to share with others. Hurley, who admittedly, finds warmth in a six-pack before turning in, could quite easily have required some form of payment, but he gave freely because someone had given to him. Perhaps even recognizing that we all have faults, looked past my possible fault of intruding on his turf, choosing instead, to meet my need. He did not stand atop a mountain and bellow down at me, in arrogance, "WORK WITH WHAT YOU HAVE." He was in a position to help; so he did.To give you a more complete picture, Hurley is not someone who drives an extended cab 4x4. Hurley pushes a basket filled with, what appears to be, his worldly possessions. He, like most people on the streets, has had some tough breaks; yet he had enough compassion in his heart to think of someone else's needs.I have met some of the most kind-hearted, gifted and talented people on the streets, who, for varying reasons, find themselves homeless. Some due to chronic unemployment others have drug, family, health and/or mental issues. I have been diagnosed with depression. Which some, antagonistically, label as "bipolar." But if bipolar is my only issue as a result of all the trauma I've been through; then I say, Prozac "do yo thang!" That's what it's there for.I could very easily have turned to drugs, prostitution, become sexually promiscuous, ended up in prison for seeking my own justice or worse. But I met a man from Galilee. Don't get me wrong I'm not judging those who have fallen into those traps. I'm just saying, I understand. But this man that I mentioned, the one from Galilee: He can pick you up and turn your life around. All while allowing you to see your desires upon your enemies. He will turn those things that were meant for evil, to your good. A love relationship with Him guarantees that all things work together for your good, when you answer the call of purpose that He has on your life. In other words: You're worth so much more than your current situation.I have sometimes wondered what could possibly be so precious to a homeless person that they would push it around, in a basket, from here, to there and back again. I now know, it sometimes, just might be someone else's blessing. God has many types of vessels. This time it happened to be one of metal on wheels. In what kind of vessel might God have placed your blessing.My takeaway: Weeping may endure for a day; but joy comes in the morning.Thank You LORD for Hurley. Thank You for those who donated the clothes. Thank You most of all for being Jehovah Jireh, my provider. I do love YOU so.Ya'll know there's always a song in my heart. The song that personifies me. My favorite song of all times, ever (period): "Thank You" - Vanessa Bell Armstrong

I talked to her in whispers last night. I told her not to worry, I will be back again. Then the accident happened. He was no more. Why did he not say goodbye and no more will see you again? O Father, can you hear me? When the goodbyes shall stop? I do not want to say anyomore goodbye to anyone. My nextdoor neighbors moved away. Goodbyes to all. My boss is retiring. I have to say goodbye to him. My pastor also is up in age and will retire soon. Should I say to him goodbye? O precious Lord. When all this shall stop? Then I heard a whisper in my ears. In my Fathers house are many mansions. I am going to prepare a place for you. That where I am there you may be also. No more tears. No more pain and sorrow. No more goodbyes to anyone. Jesus will be there with us forever and ever. Amen
Child of God,
:~) If you ever think you have blown God’s plan for your life, rest in this, “You nor Satan is that powerful.”
:~) If you ever think that Jehovah God, the only true and living God, will answer the prayers of the wicked against one of His beloved children, rest in this, “Neither the prayers or thoughts of the wicked nor Satan is that powerful.” And only the prayers of the righteous avails much (has great power) with God (James 5:16).
:~) Please Remember: A loyal obedient child of God stands in the power of the Creator (Genesis 15:1; Proverbs 18:10; Ephesians 6:16), and is empowered by God’s blessing and immersed in His favor. God will always honor His children who honor Him with their lives. Look at the men and women in the Bible that were faithful to God. Look how God blessed them.
Let’s Pray: God I ask in Jesus’ name that I will always purpose in my heart to honor You with my life. God bless me with the strength, knowledge, and wisdom to do so. God convict me when I am wrong, show me the right way, and bless me to humble myself and allow You to change my direction from wrong to right. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for my family, friends, and the writer of this prayer. Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen.
Have and Make it a Great Day for Someone Else,
