  1. When you find yourself feeling down caused by stress, or other circumstances of life and you feel like there isn't anyone around to encourage you, encourage yourself!!! Don't wait for a word from someone,  Encourage yourself in the Lord. What did David do when he was going through rejection and mutiny in 1Samuel 30:6, David encouraged himself in the Lord. We need do that and I am learning everyday it is best to encourage myself daily in the Lord. I am not saying encouragement from others is not valuable, it feels good to be encouraged by others. The key words are Encouragement in the Lord.  His Word is Awesome!!! We Belong to the King, We are loved by God, He created us and has a Perfect Plan for everyone of us!!! Everyday we open our eyes we have been given the gift of life!!! We can choose to encourage ourselves in the Lord everyday and help others by encouraging them too!!!God Bless and Be encouraged in the Lord!

A temple of the living God is holy, pure, blameless and always bows down before the Lord.   O the glory of His holy presence abiding.   We are the temple of the Holy Spirit.   Act as temples of the living God.   Full of mercy.  Full of compassion.  Full of love for lost souls that live next to our house.   Know ye not that ye are the temple of God and that the Holy Spirit dwelleth in you?  I Cor. 3.16     Jesus, my Lord and Savior.  Fill us with your holy presence so we will shine for You and become a true temple of the living God.  In Jesus name.  Amen

  3. Jesus told all of us to pray for those in authority, to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to help the stranger and those who are sick and in nursing homes.   We are completing our wonderful journey on earth.  God will call us home soon.  If Jesus tarries we shall be ready for meeting HIm on the air.   He will proud of all of us when He finds out that we had been doing Gods will all the time.  We sung in the choir of our church.  Praising His holy name day and night.  Bringing lost souls to the feet of Jesus and obeying Gods commandments to go into the whole world and preach the gospel.  Hear the voice of the Lord.  Come, you who are blessed by my Father.  Inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.  Matt. 25.34   Let us all reach for the stars, the gift that Jesus offered to all of us.   A Crown of Life shall be given to those who faithfully have served, loved and obeyed His word.      Amen

This is one of those topics that is unpleasant at the best, to contemplate. But it is one that is of great concern to our Lord, and a ‘warning’ about the condition of the church in the end times. One we must be aware of, and understand, in order to pray for those in this condition for their salvation. We must always approach this difficult situation with the love of God in our hearts, and forgiveness. To be there for one another, to guide one another, and to pray for one another.

Those interested in the signs of the end times, and who are in pursuit of His truths and knowledge in this, understand that although the return of Jesus Christ is imminent, it will not occur without first a great ‘falling away’. And that His return will not precede this. “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first…”  (2 Thessalonians 2:3) KJV. First, what is meant by the great ‘falling away’? The term ‘falling away’ or ‘apostasy’ as called in many texts, is defined as: to depart from the revealed truths of God’s Word; to be led away or seduced, defect and depart; to blind our eyes by the manipulation of the truths of God’s Word; to justify that which is not of God, by God’s Word; to be turned from His Truths by lying signs, wonders, and false teachings. The Greek translation of ‘falling away’ is ‘apostasia’ (ap-os-tas-ee’-ah): defection, revolt, apostasy, departure - literally, “a leaving, from a previous standing”; as defined in Strong’s Concordance (646).  These are just a few of the terms used to define ‘falling away’. Another example to the consistency of the meaning of a ‘falling away’ in the Word of God is this verse: “ Those on rocky ground are the ones who receive the Word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in time of testing they fall away.” (Luke 8:13) NIV. The meaning of this term must first be understood in the context of use for clarification.

This is a time in which the Lord is warning all, that many will not only leave the faith, but some will still claim it, and use the Word of God to serve their own pursuits. To justify their own desires; to mix His Truths with lies; to comform with the world while yet believing for self-justification, with even themselves leading others astray by their heretical  beliefs. Most importantly, not holding on to their ‘First Love”, Jesus Christ! “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have abandoned your first love. Remember therefore where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come quickly and remove your lampstand from its place – unless you repent.” (Revelations 2:4-5). NKJV. Who can fall into this category? Anyone! Not only you and I as students of the Word of God, those who also call themselves Pastor, teacher, church leaders, and elders.  Any one of us can be led into this deception unless we stay in His Word and seek His truths. Seeking His truths, and not just what we want His word to say, either by denial or omission, to justify our beliefs. These are the things that can occur if after we have been called, we do not ‘stand the ground’. What is the result of  ‘falling away’, without repentance?  The Lord Himself has strong Word’s on this that should shake the very ground we walk on.  “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the Will of my father who is heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you.  Away from me evil doers!”  (Matthew 7:21-23). NIV. These are the Word’s of God to those who have accounted themselves to be believers, but have fallen away. These things have invaded the body of Christ like a cancer. Yet in knowing the Lord’s response to those who have gone astray, there are those that will keep right on living in these deceptions, because they continue to justify their actions by mixing His truths with their lies. Therefore it is now a ‘truth’ to them. We must remember that there is a wide and straight road that leads to destruction and hell, and many will follow it. “But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” (Matthew 7:14). NIV. This verse ends with five Word's that should move us to self examination: "only a FEW find it." Of all those that proclaim HIs name, the vast majority will be lost! This should stir each of us to search our hearts to be sure that His Truths are alive and live in us. That we are not living in deception as to our salvation. There are far too many believers that are being desensitized to the Word of God by the world, false teachings and the false counsel of these individuals that are among us. And, according to our Lord, there are more that are 'fallen away' than not! They are all around us and in our midst. We will be deceived by them, and the spirit of the enemy that is in them, unless we stay true to the truths of God's Word, and continually seek His understanding and wisdom. Where is our responsibility in all of this? We are to hold on to His truths and to test all things. “But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every form of evil.” (Thessalonians 5:21-22). NASB.

Is the great ‘falling away’ present or are we just in its shadow? If we look at the world today, and the divisions occurring within in the church and the resulting strife that is among believers by internal conflict, it would seem that at the very least, the door has been opened. And if we are seeing this, then we know that the Lord's arrival, by His own Word's, is imminent. Are you truly ready for His arrival? We stand in danger of 'falling away'  when we begin to self-interpret the Word of God, to say what we want His Word to say, rather than seek His truths and hold fast to them…to be immovable in ALL of His Words. But, it is for each and every one of us to pursue the understanding in this by staying in the Word of God and by prayer. And where does the understanding of His Truths come from? Any man can teach the Word of God, but understanding comes ONLY by His Holy Spirit. "As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about ALL things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him." (1 John 2"27). And again: "But the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you." (John 14:26). We continually should seek His understanding from His Holy Spirit, in prayer.

So in all of this ‘doom and gloom’ where is our hope and peace?  It is here:

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9) NIV. Are we seeing the "falling away?" Absolutely! If we can't see this, then we have also been deceived. My prayer is for us all to stand and stay strong in the truths of His Word. To not be deceived by this world or the enemy. To not be one that has ‘fallen away’. May God’s blessings be upon each and every one of you.

As always, your comments are always welcomed and appreciated.

This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.  Hallelujah!

Giving thanks this morning for rest and restoration.  For the past couple months, I have been allowed to simply rest.  Thank You LORD.

     A song in my heart

God is so good  . . . He has laid everything out in the manual; all we have to do is follow the instructions.

    Isaiah 1:19   If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land;

God has been speaking to me about this place of rest that, unbeknownst to me, He had prepared and set forth long before my journey had ever begun.  This city was not on my “To Do” list.  In fact, my sights were set, solely, on the assigned destination shown me in vision.  A destination, literally in the complete, geographical, opposite direction.  However, there’s a sweet fragrance in the place; but, yet and still, work to be done.  Isn’t it just like God to throw a detour, a layover if you will, into our situations?  Oh, how I do love His way!

Matthew 10:27  What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.

Are you ready Dallas?  !It’s time to get your shine back, someone else has been gleaning for far too long.

Heavenly Father, first and foremost, we seek Your redemption through your merciful forgiveness for our trespasses.  By the anointing of your Holy Spirit and according to the power that worketh in this place, in these your people, through Christ Jesus, I ask that you set forth your exceeding, abundant grace of protection, provision, healing, restoration and exaltation upon this flagship city.  Let Your Word which you sent out, prosper in this place, above and beyond all that can be asked or imagined.  In the precious name of The Lamb.  Amen.

    1 Corinthians 14:22

  6. In life, some may walk, others may run, but remember the Lord gave the tortoise and the horse the same days to reach Noah's ark. Your journey might be rough and tough but you will definitely get to your destination.
Jacob looked at Joseph and saw a good son! The ten brothers looked at Joseph and saw a useless dreamer! The travellers looked at Joseph and saw a slave!! Potiphar looked at Joseph and saw a fine servant!! Potiphar's wife looked at Joseph and saw a potential boyfriend! The prison officers saw in Joseph a prisoner! How wrong were all of them! God looked at Joseph and saw a Prime Minister of Egypt in waiting!! Don't be discouraged by what people see in you!! Be encouraged by what God sees in you!! Never underrate the person next to you because you never know what the Lord has deposited in that person. Your maid may be a Chief Executive Officer in waiting for a company which shall employ your child. Your garden-boy may be a president in waiting. (Remember David got the anointing of becoming a King while he was a simple child herding sheep. Esther was a simple orphaned girl yet she was a Queen in waiting). Let's share God's love and make the world a better place to live. Show that love by sharing this message with those you love.
IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW PEOPLE SEE YOU, IT MATTERS HOW GOD SEES YOU
    God is God:
He doesn't care about *age*, no wonder he blessed Abraham.
He doesn't care about *experience*, no wonder he chose David.
He doesn't care about *gender,* no wonder he lifted Esther.
He doesn't care about *your past*, no wonder he called Paul.
He doesn't care about *your physical appearance*, no wonder he chose Zacchaeus
    (the shortest one).
He doesn't care about *fluency in speech* , no wonder he chose Moses.
He doesn't care about *your career*, no wonder he choose Mary Magdalene; a prostitute.
All I know is that my God never changes
He never made *a promise he wouldn't keep*
He never saw *a person he wouldn't help*He never heard *a prayer he wouldn't answer*
He never found *a soul he wouldn't love*
He never found *a sinner he wouldn't forgive*
This is the kind of God I would like to commune with every day the moment I wake up. I strongly recommend Him to you.

  7. I ask for intercessions for "Kings and all in authority" in Jesus' Name to be lifted before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords at whose Name every knee must bow (1 Tim 2:1-4; Phil 2:5-11).

As I have been waiting for the past several months for God to move on my body and heal me from eczema and rosacea: My eczema has been slowly healing and fading thanks to creams and a humidifier in my room that the Lord has allowed me to have, causes it to be clearing up. However, during this same period, my rosacea has finally come to a halt, but is yet to experience healing, and my last several breakouts have been cystic acne that continues to progressively get worse and worse with one breakout after another. As I continue to pray, I have asked time and time again is it the will of God to heal my face? Maybe I'm wrong, but I personally believe that it is always the will of God to heal us even when we don't receive it, this belief is based on the fact that Jesus healed everyone in the Bible, not just a few, some, or even most, but all. Therefore, I keep telling myself that I have yet to receive healing for other reasons, like more patience is needed, or there are trials I need to conquer first within myself in order to get my healing. But then I remembered a scripture on awaiting healing, and a friend pointed out another one to me just yesterday.

2 Timothy 4:2: Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

James 4:3:  When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

In 2 Tomothy Paul tells us to keep being honorable Christians of faith and good works even when we we are weak and going through a hard season, If this is where I am at now, it means I can't give up in believing that my rosacea and acne will have a breakthrough soon. I also believe that God wants me healed because I feel as though I have been receiving small signs from God that he will heal me soon such as hearing his small voice for the first times in my life telling me that my prayers will be answered, having a spiritual dream, and hearing people in my life both Christian and non believer telling me that ever since I started praying for a miracle that they feel I will soon experience a great blessing in my life and will see amazing things (they don't realize they are speaking prophecy over me, also - every single one of these people who said such things remains unaware that I have been praying for a miracle - interesting) In addition to this verse, there are actually a dozen good scriptures related to long suffering of Christians, enough to make a blog post out of.

The second verse, James 4:3 warns us of asking things of God with bad motives because in this case, the scripture indicates that it is not God's will to answer prayers. OK, this verse is compelling me to make a confession. Confession time! I really thought on this one, because I am a 20 year old male virgin who has never kissed a girl or been in a serious relationship. But in regards to my personality, I am a confident (at least 'til recently), social guy who loves making friends and would love to have a girlfriend. God knows that I am trying my best to stay a virgin, but would love to have sex. That being said, this morning I prayed this to Lord: "Prepare me to receive your healing with great humility and fear of you Lord, help me in my future relationship(s), and in return for your healing, I vow to do my best in remaining a virgin as pay for your great healing, and trust you that if I am tempted to break this vow, you will stop me from breaking it." This may sound pretty cheesy to some of you, but the Lord has stopped me several times from doing a great sin, so I know what he is capable of.

In conclusion, when waiting for a healing or a breakthrough in life from God, it often seems hopeless. I'm sure Joshua never planned on becoming the Pharaoh's second on the day it happened to him. I bet he thought it was just another average day. The blessings of Job were said to come "like a whirlwind", all beginning to happen in one day, being blessed every year forward for the rest of his life. And Revelation tells us that the return of Jesus Christ on Earth is said to be a day that no man of the world or of Him will see coming. In other words, every man and woman will think "this is the last day I would expect Jesus to return." My point is, if blessings, breakthroughs, and miracles, often come out of the blue, it means that we are not to give up faith that it can't begin to happen at any second, even when we think breakthroughs seem to have never been farther out of our reach, because God can move in greatly in seconds if we will give him our faith to do it. This being said, I pray that all Christians who read this post who are awaiting healing from having physical abnormalities, being blind, deaf, physically disabled, mentally disabled, and fighting severe health problems and skin problem for themselves or someone else, as well as those going through persecution, financial crisis, and families and relationship that are falling apart will be given the courage and faith in God to continue believing for mighty breakthroughs and miracles even when they have never felt farther. I will continue believing when things look bleak, will you?

I sing praise to Your name o Lord... praises to Your name o Lord.  For Your name is great and greatly to be praised.    Let us all bow down before the Lord our God.  He alone is worthy of all glory. I will sing a new song unto Thee o God.  Upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto Thee.   Psalm  144.9   The Lord is righteous in all His ways.  So, let us all raise our voices in praise.   I will bless the Lord and give Him all the glory, all the praise and all the honor now and forever more.   Amen

  9. John the apostle had this wonderfu vision of heaven pearly gates in front of his own eyes.   The twelve gates were twelve pearls.  Each gate made of a single pearl.  The ñgreat streets were made of gold. as pure and transparent as glass.  Rev. 21.21  Jesus awaits for all of us who serve, love and care for others.  He Himself will welcome us in and give us a hug.  Are you ready to see Him?

  10. We cannot force anyone to love Jesus.  But if our life shines for Him then they will come to Him and ask forgiveness of sins.  May Jesus shine through all of us so others will give all the honor and praise to God almighty.

The extolling and exaltation of God has been done through the ages.  The prophets of old did it.  The disciples of Christ did it.  All those who love God raised their voices in praise, honor and adoration to God almighty.   Fill my cup Lord, I lift it up Lord.  Come and quench this thristing of my soul.   Bread of heaven, fill me till I want no more.  Fill my cup, fill it up and make me whole.   Out of our emptiness, out of our sadness and pain we raise our voice to God.  Plead for mercy and compassion.  Along with that, the praises of a heart that is full of thanksgiving and greatfulness sings glorious songs to Jesus.  He is the One who heals, who blesses us, who comfort our hearts and love us with an everlasting love.   For the Lord our God is glorious and worthy of our praise.   And unto Him we lift our voices in praise.  Just as the angels in heaven do day and night.  For You O Lord are glorious and worthy of praise.  Join the choir of angels, of all the cherubims and seraphims.   Worthy is the Lord our God to receive all the glory, all the honor and all the praise now and forever more.   Amen

And God breathed into His nostrils the breath of life and the man became a lilving being.  Gen. 2.7    Here I am Lord on my knees, knowing that You have given us life.  You breathed on us a breath of life to love You, to serve You, to adore Your holy name.  Drench my soul as mercy and grace unfolds.  I hunger and thrist for You.  I surrender all to You.  Our souls are given a purpose and free will to choose and not choose.  But as for me and my house I shall serve the Lord.  Lord, have your way in me.  Like a mighty storm stir within my soul.  Your holy presence is what we desire more than anything else in this world.   All men are dust.  They were taken from it and to dust they shall return.  But our soul, as breathed by God Himself shall return to Him.  Nothing have we brought to this world and nothing we will be able to take to heaven.  All we have to do in this world is this.  To bring lost souls to the feet of Jesus.  To memorize Gods word and keep it in our hearts.  That is what God requires of us.  Lord, have your way in me.   Amen

  15. This is a wonderful gift that comes down from heaven.   The joy of the Lord is our strenght.     In the middle of our sorrow,  In the middle of our trials and tribulations we can find true happiness.  It is the will of God for all Christians to rejoice in the Lord always.  When my wife had a miscarriage, my heart sunk and grief took hold of my heart.  Why did you do this to me?   I asked the Lord.   He replied.  All souls of the earth are mine.   Remain on my love and I will fill your heart with joy.    I decided to remain in the holy presence of God.  He is the Potter, I am the clay.

    THE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask Your forgiveness and to seek Your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, "Woe on those who call evil good," but that's exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We confess that:

We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it pluralism.

We have worshiped other gods and called it multi-culturalism.

We have endorsed perversion and called it an alternative lifestyle.

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.

We have neglected the needy and called it self-preservation.

We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.

We have killed our unborn children and called it a choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.

We have abused power and called it political savvy.

We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition.

We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, O God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.

Guide and bless these men and women who have been sent to direct us to the Center of Your Will.

I ask it in the name of Your Son, the living Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

What awesome insight, humility and honesty!!! Attributes sadly lacking in the halls of government and in our society.

With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep our Nation and wholeheartedly become our desire, so that we again can be called a Nation of People Who Love God!

Please send this prayer to as many of your friends as you can. Let us all help to get God back into our lives and most importantly into the lives of our children & grandchildren.

I will follow You o Lord till you call me home to glory.   Amen

  21. O my hearts deepest desire is to be with Jesus.  To hear the sweet sound of the trumpet callling us all home to glory.  On that that bright and cloudless morning when the dead in Christ shall rise and the glory of His resurrection share.   His chosen ones shall gather to their home beyond the skies.  And the roll is called up yonder I will be there.   I hope and pray that everyone I love, I care and I am writing to, will be there.   Joining the heavenly choir of angels singing praises to Jesus day and night.  Open our hearts o Lord to see the glorious things that will happen to us when we depart planet earth.   No more pain, no more sorrow, no more worries.  Jesus Himself shall wipe away all tears from our eyes.   Blessed be His holy name now and forever more.   Amen and amen.

One be one we threw all our fears, weaknesses, our longings for wealth and riches of this earth.   Our motivations, expectations and histories of our personal life were given to the Lord.  Take them all o Lord, we said.  It is all Yours.  All dissapointments that drew us into a circle were gone.  Jesus took all of them away from us.  Then we heard the voice of the Lord saying.  Greater love has no one than this.  To lay down his life for his friends.  John 15.13   Yes Lord.  We shall do as You say.   No one wants to miss heaven.  No one wants to be left behind.  Let us all focus our gaze on the heavenly price.  A crown of life shall be given to all who are faithful to the end.  Strenghten your faith.  Believe with your whole heart what Gods word says.  No greater love than this to lay down his life for his friends.   Jesus did all for you, for me and will do it all over again for those who believe in Him and trust His word.    Glory to God in the highest.    Blessed be His holy name now and forever more.   Amen
